On arrival we were greeted with your room is this way out to the garage conversion. It was very dated and the door kept jumping off the runners for the bathroom. Location was good with stunning views. Breakfast was good but sparse, we expected a full Scottish breakfast. my biggest problem as I was working was no wifi in the... More

We stayed one night in order to catch the morning ferry to Lewis, great location for the port and walking distance to the town with its restaurants and shops. Our room was the family room at the front of the hotel, the room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with a balcony! The children loved the bunk beds and its great that... More

We stayed for one night in the garage extension / granny flat of the Old Surgery. The website states that the premises was extensively renovated in the 80's and I think it would be safe to say it's not been redecorated since! Horribly dated and well worn. Another negative was that the wifi didn't work from the room - which... More

this B&B was very clean and very functional. The breakfast was excellent, very fresh and good ; a homemade rhubarb compote, amazing. The beds were very good. There was a balcony to the sea and a very clean bathroom. The place was very quiet

We had a double room in the 'annexe' which is actually the converted garage! Good use of the space we thought :-) The room was good with comfortable bed and, like the shower room, was spotlessly clean. We felt the decor and en-suite were a bit dated though. However, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was good.

This was our second stay here, returning after last year, which should say it all, we wouldn't go back if it wasn't excellent, Clean, quiet and very comfortable, good breakfast and the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, Thank you for another delightful stay Manfred and see you next year.

Lots of B and B's in Ullapool but chosen because of good reviews and excellent location provided you can get either rooms 1 or 2 to take advantage of the loch views. £75 double ensuite very good value.

I enjoyed my stay in Ullapool and staying at this B&B, a short walk from the center of Ullapool on a quiet street across from the Loch where ferries to Hebrides travel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, was very quiet. Will definitely stay when in Ullapool in the future.

Thank you Manfred for making us feel very welcome in your beautiful B&B!!! We were on our honeymoon, and had a GORGEOUS view of the loch out of our bedroom window!! The room we were in was HUGE, comfortable, and, the best part-still used the old skeleton style keys/locks!!! We were made to feel very welcome by Manfred. Breakfast was... More
