Ok so it's 11 miles from Ullapool (best restaurant there incidentally is The Ferry Boat ... lovely fish) but absolutely worth the drive. Wendy is a great hostess (a bit of a shame though her husband is a Liverpool supporter!). The room was magnificent as indeed was the breakfast. As I said best B&B in the Highlands. Without a doubt.

We fell in love with this place. Ed and Wendy make us feel so welcome and right at home. They were so helpful on what we could do, what to see. (There's a FANTASTIC single track scenic drive you simply must do). The rooms were fab, gorgeous smellies provided as well. Last but not least the breakfast - it was... More

We stayed for our first anniversary and it blew us away. Both the hotel and the grounds are lovely and the breakfast the next day was fantastic. They surprised us for our anniversary with champagne and strawberries! Would definitely recommend.

The B&B was easy to find with the directions we received by mail, although it is located some miles away from Ullapool. On arrival our host Wendy showed us around in the big guest house and presented us our lovely furnished room with en-suite bathroom. We used the guest kitchen for a small amount extra. So in the evening we... More

We picked this B&B based on the TripAdvisor ratings and weren't in the slightest bit disappointed. Wendy and Ed (the owners) are incredibly friendly and helpful, the building itself, which was an old stone hunting lodge, rambles up and down with a character all of its own. Although there's no TV in the rooms, there are two lounges (with TVs... More

Very good. Hosts are are superb, friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The two lounges and kitchen to cook for yourself in the evening if you wish were comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked with home baked bread. Top Class. Our children loved meeting the animals.

Wendy and Ed are extremely friendly and welcoming. And the house ... it's so beautiful! Unfortunately we stayed for only one night, but you could spend much more time in this lovely house. Absolutely the best on our 11 days in Scotland. Big room, first class breakfast (gluten free was no problem) and beautiful lounges. I hope I will come... More

Wendy is a fantastic and devoted guest house joined by his husband Ed, we were treated so nicely, some kinf of we were family related. We fully enjoyed our stay at Braemore Square house, what about the breakfast and delicious coffee (strong enough to leave you alert for the rest of the day). Definitely our best stay in Scotland lately... More

Feels like an elegant highland lodge - huge rooms, two lounges, great bathrooms. Do not miss it! Ed and Wendy were so friendly and welcoming and our honeymoon did not go unrecognised. Option to self cater was great esp for a hungry vegetarian!

Ed & Wendy have it down to a tee! Stunning setting with lovely rooms and the best breakfast on our 15 day road trip through Scotland. Wished we could stay longer and will hopefully be back one day! All the best x
