Stayed one night having spent the day driving up London, and getting the ferry the next morning, so all we really wanted was a warm bed and lots of sleep. The room was at the front of the hotel, so noise from the bar was pretty bad. In the morning I tried to have a bath, but the mixer tap... More

Pleasant enough view over the Loch - nothing spectacular though. Lightning 6-day trip to Scotland. Stayed in Country House Hotels, very nice pub near Gleneagles, a crofter's cottage in the north and - The Ferry Boat Inn. Ullapool really hasn't got that much going for it these days - the glorious fishing days are behind it and - in my... More

Excellent location, our room was at the front so we had a great view but not suitable if you are a light sleeper due to noise from main road and throughout hotel, although it didn't bother us. The room was freezing, no double glazing and electric heater took a long time to heat room but when it did eventually warm... More

Room spotlessly clean but VERY small and cramped. Walls paper thin - could hear guy next door on his phone. Glad we were only booked for 1 night. Breakfast was additional but wonderful choices and extremely good - however hubby wasn't impressed by the halved lorne sausage that came with his breakfast but I was more than happy with my... More

I had to move one of the chairs into the shower room to move. The tray with kettle etc had to be put on the... More

We stayed 2 nights and it was perfectly adequate for our needs, good sized double room with a great view, comfortable double bed, small basic bathroom, my only negative is that there was no where to hang our wet towels, 2 hooks on the back of the bathroom door would have been great, we had to hang them over the... Stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room. It was room 1, the twin beds were very comfortable and the room nicely decorated with a wonderful view down Loch Broom. On first view the bathroom seemed nice and it is, but it was let down by small details. some shelves for toiletries would... More

The bathroom was spotless with a great shower and bath. the beds were comfy and we had the usual coffee and tea making facilities.
