Stayed here with a bunch of fellow cyclists on the way to John O'Groats. Superb food, very comfortable accommodation and a brilliant fizzing atmosphere. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The breakfast was a triumph as well.

Second time here over a long weekend in May. The best food in Ullapool bar none. Great wee hotel with superb sea views. The food is the star. Seafood of every variety, fresh and local. Achiltibuie scallops are a must. The other dishes a excellent as well. Scottish cheeseboard is the best I've had. The staff are friendly and work... More

We only stayed at The Arch Inn for one night and arrived early evening after a days travelling. Room was clean, beds comfortable, good wifi, shower and bathroom was a bit small though. The hotel is very well located, just a short walk along the sea front from the ferry terminal. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the... More

The Arch Inn is one of the few hotels in the Scottish Highlands to offer a single ensuite room at a reasonable price. It's also in a really convenient location, just a short walk along the sea front from the ferry terminal. A cooked Scottish breakfast sends you off well prepared for hiking, boat trips or other outdoor activities. Dinner... More

Our family had a great meal and dinner after our roundtrip in Speyside, the girls just LOVED the sticky toffee pudding. The fish and wine was excellent too. The rooms are nicely done up, we had a great stay! Ullapool is cool!

From check-in to check-out (and everything in between) our stay at the Arch Inn couldn't have been better. After a very long drive we were warmly greeted at the bar of this traditional old inn and shown to our room. The waterside view room was small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a... More

My wife considers herself as a connoisseur of Scallops. Today, she had the finest scallops she has ever tasted. My own fish in batter was very good, We rate the chef here very highly. The good weather helped, but eating outside with great views

Booked special Valentine meal for two and couldn't fault it if I tried. Nice decorations without being twee, stylish set up. All courses of the meal were delicious, beautifully presented and even side dishes were cooked thoughtfully and well balanced. Service was friendly and easy going. It's been a long time since we had such a good meal in such... More

The bar was full of locals and it was like a seen from a western you walk in and everyone stops what there doing to turn round and look at you. Very funny i must admit. The only downside was there...
