After travelling through some of the most amazing scenery from Thurso -Ullapool, it was a delight to arrive at The Arch Inn. The warm welcome we received and the hospitality shown throughout our stay was second to none. The outlook from our 'sea view' room was beautiful and it was amazing to watch a cruise ship arrive in the morning.... More

The view of the port was fantastic through a small attic window. As hotel bedroom go, this one was lacking. The room was small and bed was more of a large single than a double. The bathroom was tired and the shower above the bath was the toy type which likes to spray the room if not lashed down. There... More

The Arch Inn has a great location on the shores of Loch Broom and has a beer garden out the front where you can sit and watch the day go by on the loch shore. The weather was great when we were there so the garden was well used and it was nice to look out over the loch from... More

I have to admit, this was not my first choice. We booked it because we needed a place in Ullapool to catch the early ferry the next day and all the hotels with family rooms were fully booked. The Arch Inn was so cheap (£45 for a single, £75 for a double, with breakfast) we could book two rooms for... More

The Arch Inn is in a great location and we had a comfortable night in a nicely appointed room on the first floor. The walls and ceiling were a little thin but fortunately our neighbours were quiet and we weren't bothered too much. Two Tunnocks Caramel Wafers on the tea tray in our room was a nice touch and very... More

We arrived in Ullapool on a dreach and dreary night and we're brightened up immediately we saw or lovely room. Looking out over Loch Broom. .. ok. . We couldn't see much. .. The room was clean, bright and welcoming! Not huge but cute in an Inn sort of way! Staff were accommodating and friendly. .. Evening meal was absolutely... More

This was our second visit for Sunday lunch. On our first vist we had an excellent meal in lovely surroundings, white tablecloths etc.. We had a beautiful Sunday roast, but that was a couple of years ago. Well now it is just a pub lunch, no tablecloths and an uninspiring menu. There is no special board during the day. We... More

The hotel was lovely and excellent views. The food was great except I chose lobster as a treat and it was overcooked but not being a lobster expert didn't know enough to complain and at £25 it was steep so needed. All in all a great place to stay.

Stayed for one night enroute to John O’Groats. Couldn't have been better. Best food on our trip and fantastic room with a view. Tremendous atmosphere with live music and dancing till the early hours. .

Stayed here with a bunch of fellow cyclists on the way to John O'Groats. Superb food, very comfortable accommodation and a brilliant fizzing atmosphere. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The breakfast was a triumph as well.
