We stayed at The Sheiing, Ullapool for 1 night. It was lovely. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and the setting was brilliant looking over Loch Broom. more

We spent 3 nights at the Sheiling and can thoroughly recommend it as a good value and cozy place to stay. We had a double room overlooking Loch Broom - Velux windows but still nice views. Bed was comfortable (I am 6ft 5in) and the room was very practically appointed with all one could need - but shower a bit... more

Located on the edge of the Loch, this bed & breakfast is just on the edge of Ullapool village itself. The shops and restaurants of Ullapool are probably within walking distance, although we tended to take the car with the rain the way it was (unpredictable!). There is a comfortable communal lounge with Sky TV, and a Windows PC available... more

The rooms were clean and allright, the breakfast was abundant, and the views from the garden are beautifull. But as we are looking for just 'that something more', we were very disappointed in 'The Sheiling' because we didn't feel a warm welcome. We were taken to our room by the hostess, and that was all we saw of her during... more

This B&B has a wonderful location, and our room had great views over the loch (although through small windows). The room wasn't overly big but it was very comfy. The breakfast was beautiful, and was great to have so many options, along with a fantastic view. The service was friendly and would definitely come here again. more

The Sheiling is rather a Hotel than a B&B. However, it might be slightly more expensive than a B&B but it was really worth it. The rooms were clean and modern, a bit small though but we spent a cosy evening sitting in the common room downstairs which has a TV, magazines and music. The breakfast was fantastic! Make sure... more

A wonderful property in a great location - loch views (mind the midges!) and a quiet off-street situation. You'll need a car, as it's out of town. Delightful, simple rooms with wood finishes. Very clean throughout (no need to wear socks to walk to the en-suite here!), TVs in the room, nice bathroom (though shower terrible!). A really good, locally-sourced... more

We had a wonderful new year with new owners Iain and Lesley MacDonald. As usual, very friendly, and with the wonderful views, the privacy and the extra special features (incl the sauna, washing machines, drying machines, and home cooking) we had a great time. As a group of us we'd been hill walking for 3 days. We came back, dried... more

This is a really lovely B&B. It's on the edge of Ullapool - and it's just a 5 minute walk into the small town. It's on a hill and the breakfast room and resident's lounge overlooks the loch. Stunning views. None of the rooms look onto the loch though. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to hotels - and... more
