I found this sweet bed and breakfast on my feet as I needed lodging for one night. It's very conveniently located right on the main road in Ullapool. The arrangement was made with ease by Simon. I was delighted with my single room which was cozy, warm and hugely comfortable. Eileen and Simon's home is a treasure. It's small but... More

We just finished a road trip through Scotland and this was by far the worst B&B we stayed at. It is disgustingly dirty; mould in the sink and shower of the shared bathroom, frayed towels, filthy carpets, mould on the ceilings and dirty walls. Ullapool is a small place but there are plenty of other B&Bs that would all be... More

This review we consider to be vindictive coming from a guest who barely spent 10 hours with us. His party arrived 10pm, tired and stressed from having completed a very demanding days driving far too far on our small country roads. The 3 guests accepted a no cost upgrade from a triple to a twin and a single as we... More

Arrived late on the evening of our stay, there had been a bit of misunderstanding on booking and we had not realised it was shared accommodation. The rooms and bathroom were not very clean at all, the shower area was tiny and not particularly effective. The room I was in did not have a lock on the door and after... More

Another review by the same guest .This is the true date 6th June. The previous review for the 14th June is impossible as we had a different group of guests staying. There were no other guests staying on the 6th June. The heating is controlled by the guest in each individual room More

Follow the ducks through the wild garden and you will finda charming, quaint and particular B&B. If the door opens, you will follow Aileen through the house full of nooks and crannies and the next day Simon will make you a big, great, scotish Breakfast! We enjoyed it a lot! Thanks!

Two friends and I rolled into Ullapool rather late, found most of the town booked, and just when we thought we were out of luck, we found this! When we saw the sign, "Please close gate, ducks in the garden," we knew this was the place for us. Eileen and Simon's house is lovely inside, full of eclectic, interesting things... More

if you want a travelodge style place to stay, forget it. This place is quirky, almost unique, and you are made to feel most welcome. Stayed four nights...missed breakfast twice as I slept so well. When I made it to Brekkie it was lovely, friendly atmosphere, varied food choices, bacon to die for, fellow visitors join you, and Simon n Eileen... More

The first you notice is that this house is located further back than the rest of the houses on the street. In front there is a nice garden with a little path that brings you up to the front door. We really enjoyed the breakfast with lots of home made/grown fruits and jams. Brilliant rooms with lots of charm and... More

Having just completed a three and a half day hike from Alness (east coast) to Ullapool (west coast) we were struggling to find accomadation in Ullapool at short notice for a reasonable price. Luckily one of our group of five spotted that Tenterden had vacancies and after a brief chat with Eileen we found out that they had space for... More

This B&B is different than others I have visited. It is a charming, old, wooden house with a beautiful view over the bay. Simon is a good host. What I liked was the breakfast (fresh fruit, great bread, lovely view), the uniqueness, the free (and fast) WiFi, the great bed. The two things I did not like that much is... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in July...what a refreshing find in comparison to the usual b&bs. Simon is a very approachable and relaxed host and he welcomed us into his home. Breakfast is served in his living/dining room and its full of beautiful objects to look at. The table is simply laid with earthenware crockery which I love after staying... More
