I avoid staying in B&Bs if I can, as I can't take the enforced bonhomie first thing in the morning. But this place is perfect! Well-designed & very comfortable rooms, great in-room breakfast facilities, home-made cake and friendly (but no over-friendly) owners. Great value for money - we happily stayed an extra night! more

Everything you'd expect from a quality B&B. With bikes to rent, stories to tell, and an in-room healthier alternative to a traditionally heavy breakfast, it was a great time. They recommended a good day trip, a good bar, and a good restaurant. Definitely worth checking out. more

I'm not at my best in the morning, so this "have a healthy (ie not fried) breakfast in your room" policy was fantastic - as was the decor, the location, the food and most of the facilities (fridge, Freesat TV, shower room, small table and dining chairs in the window etc). Recently converted from a hostel to a high quality B&B, this is a beautiful old house in a very handy location within Ullapool. It is across the road from the Ceilidh Place and everything else is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the layout and breakfast facilities inguenious. Until recently this was a budget hostel but our room was newly refurbished to a high standard with en-suite. Very comfortable, clean, welcoming. The help-yourself continental breakfast is a winner, with plenty to satisfy two hungry cyclists! They also have mountain bikes for hire. more
