My wife and I stay here a couple of times each year, most recently in November of this year. We always enjoy our stays, or wouldn't keep going back! The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. We are both baffled by the French review entitled Un scandale. It bears no relationship to our findings, nor... More

Our bedroom was fine for our overnight stay. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Our breakfast was very nice. Parking was available on site. The location was a short walk to the seafront for dinner. The host was very friendly.

We were cycling the Outer Hebrides and this was our last stop on the way home. The bus company we were travelling home with insisted our bikes were packed in bike bags which were rather cumbersome but Eileen Donan let us post them to there before we left and they looked after them for us - a huge load of... Stayed for few nights, and it was a pleasant stay in a b&b that was a little anonymous and tired. The location is a convenient, a couple of streets from the pier, and about 5 mins walk to the main shops. It was easy to find, and the owners were polite and friendly. The b&b itself is tired, and could... More

Stayed two nights recently . Room good size with all you require. Breakfast good with a choice. Basic good b&b at a good price. Parking in yard behind and walking distance to the restaurants. Would return. Owners frendly and helpful.

Eilean Donan is situated in a 'suburban' street of Ullapool handy to everything. Our twin room was on the ground floor so getting things in was easy. The downside of being on the lower level was that we could hear the people upstairs moving around. The friendly welcome was brief but covered everything. Breakfast included some options other than the... More

I stayed here for one night during a motorcycle tour of Scotland; the parking was adequate. The service was polite and helpful and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The windows didn't seem to let much light in, and the décor seemed very '70s: Anaglypta wallpaper, Formica, and lots of straight lines at angles, etc; but then again, '70s remains quite... More

My first impression was that the décor was a bit tired and old fashioned. However, my room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed my two-night stay. The owners are very pleasant and serve an excellent cooked breakfast. The guest house is in a quiet street a short walk from the town centre, bank and several restaurants. I wouldn’t... More

The B&B owners were warm and friendly. Breakfast served were great !! The town is really small and the place is just a very short way to the main shore road where all the food and shops are. The nearest ATM (RBS) is also just a street away. Room is good, with the usual kettle/coffee/tea/hot chocolate, TV etc. Please do... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. Paid £45 per night for a single room. The room was on the 2nd floor and had an ensuite bathroom. The room was clean and the sheets and towels smelt freshly laundered. Free wifi was also available. Coffee, tea and cookies was also provided in the room. A cooked breakfast... More
