Very helpful staff, great food, good location. 15 min walk into Castle Douglas. Room clean and tidy, fittings could do with a bit of maintainance. But at £75 per nt with 3 course meal for 2 and breakfast what more could you ask. more

booked with late rooms , i agree with previous entry beautiful situation but definatly needs upgrading and the food was very poor quality. we had a problem with our meal and did recieve an apology as the regular chef apparently had a day off!!!!!!This hotel has such potential what a waste . more
