The Imperial Hotel was very disappointing. Our rather small room was decorated c. 1980 and the shower was of the same vintage - and despite the fact that smoking in hotel rooms has been banned for a few years, it still had a slight smell of stale smoke. another return to one of the most friendly hotels within the area, david and his staff can not do enough for guests, meals, service and accomodation are all excellent, David will talk about golf all night, and still serve you drinks !!, a big bonus point, excellent value all round. more
