Such a beautiful place. Stayed here in a tourer which was so close to the loch: the views were breath-taking. Very calm and relaxing place - I was shocked to wake up in the morning to utter silence. Our pitch position was perfect and we've never had such views. This morning we took a kayak out on the loch and... More

This site is fantastic the views are stunning there is plenty to do (or not do if your after a chill) on site and in local towns. The shop is well stocked and handy for forgotten items. And the staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend coming to this site :)

Wonderful place, very very clean and tidy, very friendly and helpful staff, good shop on site, plenty of stuff to keep the kids happy and there is also a large football pitch that keeps the kids busy all day and makes them sleep well at night and also good fishing in the Loch, we have had 3 holidays at this... A truly fantastic site. We had 3 nights there with family & friends. There was a total of 8 adults & 4 children. We couldn't decide who'd had the most fun so agreed on a draw. We can't wait to return. The staff were very professional but also extremely friendly. All the facilities were spotlessly clean & fit for purpose.

I booked in with my 3 children for 5 nights enjoyed it so much we stayed for 9 and went back for another weeks stay. The staff were very friendly and the site was amazing. Freedom for the kids to play out and a good variety of activities. Can't wait to go camping there again next year

We camped in Loch Ken holiday park on the first night of a tour of Scotland as it is convenient enough to stop off near Dumfries/the motorway, and yet far enough into the county that it was peaceful and had great scenery. We enjoyed the stay so much that we stayed there again 10 days later on our return journey... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with a 7year old, 8year old and our dog. The kids loved it, made new friends every time they stepped out of the tent. Plenty for them to do while I read my book and enjoyed the view. Lovely walks for the dog. We hired a kayak and th boys had great fun rowing... More

I read the previous review before coming and had build myself up for a disappointment. We also had asked for hook up,we like to keep our stuff fully charge while away not to mention hair straighteners and hair drier. The people going back and forth to the toilet did not inconvenience us at all indeed the proximity of toilets was... More

Stayed in July 2013 with my wife and 2 young children, thought it would be the highlight stay of our camping trip. We were in a tent and paid extra for electric hook up. What they don't tell you is that the hook ups are very close to the toilets and pot wash. We were allocated a pitch which should... More
