This is a very good B/B in Newton Stewart with friendly owners and good breakfast , we had the Garden Room which has a larger than normal bed which was very comfortable . Tea /Coffee facilities in room . There is a nice lounge if you would like to spend time outside the bedroom.

This was our second stay at this guest house. It's in a most beautiful setting, delightful gardens leading down to the river, close to centre of town yet very quiet & peaceful. The room was just lovely with beautiful views across to the river, very clean, and huge & very comfortable bed. Lots of choice for breakfast, including fresh fruit,... More

We have just spent our 4th visit to Scotland using Flowerbank as our base for 5 days (the sun shone throughout Easter which was a bonus). It's an excellent B&B set in a very large and wonderful garden on the banks of the river Cree. The owners Mick and Di Reynolds always have a warm and friendly welcome for their... More

This is the best B&B that we've found in this area, we'd always stay here if needing accommodation in the vicinity. Flowerbank is the type of guest house that sets standards that others can only aspire to. There are many hotels that could learn a few lessons here, delivering what the customer wants.

Two stays at Flowerbank probably shows that I really like this place. I’d definitely recommend staying if you’re looking for a home from home in this breathtaking part of Scotland. A beautiful house with lots of history and stunning gardens on the banks of the River Cree. Stylishly refurbished bedrooms and everything you could possibly need. I love the living... More

This is a beautiful guest house. The bedrooms have all one needs and lovely, very nice decor and attention to detail. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast in an uncrowned dining room which was a former school many years ago. Excellent value for money. A definate return stop!

This was our first visit to Scotland and thanks to the wonderful owners, Mick and Di we had a memorable and very enjoyable eight night stay at Flowerbank . Pulling up to this guest house, the building and gardens looked lovely and there was ample parking in the grounds. We received a warm welcome from our hosts and shown to our room, which was clean and fairly sizeable. We had booked a room with views over the gardens and river, which was very nice. The inside of the guest... More

We have just returned from a third visit to the Flowerbank and can only rate this as one of the best B & B's we have stayed in in the UK. Our en-suite room was bright, immaculately clean with extensive views over the walled garden and the River Cree. We both slept well thanks to extremely comfortable beds and quiet... More

We arrived at Flowerbank after a 46 mile cycle ride - our first B&B stop on our cycle tour around the SW of D&G. The house and gardens were stunning - a beautiful location. The ensuite room was lovely, very comfy bed. The breakfast was very good and cooked to perfection. Lovely hosts. Thank you.
