I booked based on TripAdvisor reviews. Yes, the hotel is darling from the outside. However, our family room, while spacious, was overly hot, even with windows open. Windows opened to a flat roof above the kitchen, and a smoking area, so there was noise and smoke to add to the discomfort. In addition, our bathroom had peeling wallpaper and overt... more

I arrived with my senior parents on a beautiful sunny Saturday for a two night stay at the end of May. Creebridge has a lovely garden with a large lawn and ample parking. The rooms were large and comfortable, the breakfasts excellent, and evening meal wonderful. The attentive, friendly staff always made us feel welcome, and the whole Creebridge experience... more

After a long trip it is always good to have a warm welcome on arrival and this is exactly what we got here. The check-in went without a hitch and we were directed down a series of corridors to our room. The room seemed to be one of only a couple waiting a refurb. Nevertheless, the room was a good... more

Our two night stay was relaxing in the warm friendly atmosphereof the hotel. We had booked a superior double room and were not disappointed with the size of room or the comfort of the king-sized bed. All our meals were of a high standard of both qualitity and presentation. The staff were attentive and friendly without being pushy . more

We had a three-night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast earlier this year. We were disappointed to find that the rooms, while clean, are all furnished identically with what appears to be standard "Travelodge" style furniture and furnishings. The rooms do not have any satellite or cable television channels, and wireless internet is only available in the hotel reception. In... more

I booked this hotel for me & my husband as I wanted to travel up to Newton Stewart to a self catering lodge but wanted to enjoy the experience of being dined & waited on for the first night before our lodge stay began. We were not disappointed ! This Hotel cannot be recommended enough. The attention to detail, the... more

My husband fishes the River Cree frequently but in August I decided to accompany him. What a good decision!! It rained but it didnot matter because the hotel was so perfect. I was made to feel totally at home . The staff were fantastic and fun. It was wonderful to be so spoilt and my every need attended to. Our... more

Although describing themselves as a country house hotel, the Creebridge actually sits in its pleasant wooded garden surrounded by the houses of Minnigaff. We occupied bedroom 8, one of several overlooking the garden. The majority, however, are contained within an ugly extension at the back with an outlook over the flat roof of the bar/bistro. Being in the old part... more
