I hadn't stayed here for a few years, but the very high level of customer care was still very evident. From laying a place at the table for my takeaway to posting back my phone charger (sorry!), I was very well looked after, thank you.

We spent three nights at Stables. Must say that not often you get such hospitability. B&B has a good location, it's biker friendly and also very nice breakfast with flexible times if needed. Highly recommended! Jacqui really knows how to host her guests. Even though house was full, it was still very peaceful and quiet.

Stayed at this lovely guest house and the owner, Jacqui was so welcoming and lovely. Me and my brother thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious and it was so quiet and peaceful. Port Patrick is worth a visit too. I loved it!

I needed to book a last minute room for myself and my family, we were lucky to get two rooms and were made to feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast, nice comfy rooms equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer.. I would highly recommend staying here, only a few minutes walk to the shops, great location!

No complaints from any of our party on any part of our short stay. Very quiet location and plenty options for breakfast. No wifi on offer though, which is a shame as Newton Stewart has an awful mobile coverage.

I stayed here for one night on business. Jacqui made me very welcome and I found my room very comfortable. Excellent breakfast menu although I chose not to eat too much. I would definitely recommend this B & B..

I visited Newton Stewart to get access to Galloway's wild landscapes and this was a great base with Jacqui proving a kind and welcoming host. The breakfasts were delicious. I'd definitely recommend the Stables.

We stayed here in may as a group of nine hill walkers. A lovely b&b with a very welcoming owner, jacqui. The stables is in an excellent position just behind the town nowhere near the position marked on google maps!! Food was excellent and we would definitely stay there again.
