In Kelso on a family break and stayed for two nights at The Old Priory. We were recommended to stay here by another local hotelier, and we're very glad we did. The hospitality was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate, the food was lovely and we were made very welcome. Highly recommended!

We have just returned from a 2 day break in Kelso staying at The Old Priory. Robin, the proprietor, was a friendly and knowledgable host and helped us make the most of our short stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and Robin cooks a superb breakfast. The location of The Old Priory could not be more central and... More

Recently stayed for 3rd time in 6 years. Each time I visit I want to go back and this occasion proved no different. Everything is first class: location, furniture and furnishings, food, comfort. Thanks to Robin for making us feel so welcome,

For a one-night stop in the Borders, we could not have chosen more aptly. The Old Priory is an enticing enough name but barely begins to impart the quality and delights of what Robin and Susan have created over the period of their ownership. The ambience is comfortable and welcoming, the rooms sizable and well-appointed. Had our stay been longer,... More

Robin and Susan (the owners) have given great consideration to detail to ensure you have a fantastically comfortable stay. Firstly, the beds are divine: comfy mattresses; delightful silk sheets; spaciously sized. The shutters on the windows to this magnificent (grade B listed) house do actually close, enabling you to have a deep and restful sleep, with no sunrise waking you... More

The welcome is great, the beds are soooo comfortable, there's a great selection of teas, fresh milk is available on request, wine glasses and whisky glasses are provided, there is a great choice at breakfast and all cooked freshly oh, and the bath towels wrap around! What more can I say.

This is so centrally located in Kelso that everything is within easy walking distance. It is a lovely old house and Robin pours his heart and soul into the B&B business. It is very much a family home, with occasional appearances from (beautifully behaved) dogs and children, and Robin presides over all with pride, advice on what to see, where... More

We spent two nights at this beautifully appointed. B&B. Good central location with private parking. We were given a friendly welcome with great advice of what to see and where to eat. Breakfasts gave us a good choice and were beautifully cooked.
