Thoroughly enjoyed 3 night stay in this very sumptuous B&B. Bed was so cosy, and bathroom facilities excellent. Breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented. Host Robin was extremely helpful as to pointing out places of interest. Thoroughly recommend.

What a delightful stay I had for 3 nights. Each of the bedrooms are individually and tastefully furnished with antiques and great comfy beds. There is a lovely guest lounge, just to relax in at the end of a day exploring the area. Robin, the owner is very knowledgable of the local area and the best places for an evening... More

We booked in for two nights at the Priory and loved it. The house is full of interest and you were made to feel very much at home. The room was lovely and very comfy beds. If there is a downside it was the size of the bathroom but to be honest everything else was so good it would seem... More

Warm and welcome from the owner who is really enthuastsic about his superb property . Shown the facilities and give a great insight to the town . Shutters were closed and curtanis drawn when we returned in from our meal out . Robin though we would not sleep with the street lighting just out side our window .

Had a great Easter weekend here. Room was a great standard and the sitting rooms large with a great library. There was lots of advice and suggestions on what to do and where to go. Breakfasts pretty fantastic too. Robin looked after us very well. Thanks again for the woolly fish ;-) Look forward to returning

I don't know where to start but it was fabulous. The room was HUGE and decorated with all antique furniture. The bathroom was as large as one room I stayed in at another B&B. The lounge was truly deluxe as was the sun room. Great yard in the back to loaf and read. Robin was a truly perfect host, very... More

A late decision made to stay overnight in Kelso when attending local race meeting. Paid just under £100 when other local hotels were asking £150 - £190. Proved excellent value therefore and this beautiful, traditional house provides very good spacious facilities and a great breakfast from very personable owner. Private parking to rear of property. B&B located smack centre of... More

Friends in Kelso recommended we stay here when visiting them for a few nights. Very conveniently located off the main square but the room was surprisingly quiet and very well appointed. The ensuite was also modern, adding to comfort & privacy. A 1 minute walk to the CBD with back street parking, this was very convenient. The silk duvet got... More

Robin provides just the right amount of help, not too much and not too little. The facilities are delightful and the advice, assistance and thoughtfulness hit the spot. I particularly enjoyed breakfast time. Travelling alone, I felt right at home in the dining room with a wonderful home cooked meal providing a fabulous start to the day. Very highly recommended.

Dear Stewart Thank you for the lonely review. We never know how we come across to others but unlike some of your countrymen (Not so Excellent) we seem to have got it right with you but then you were the type of person who would appreciate a lovely old house and good cooking! Come and see us again , hope... More
