A great weekend in a beautiful house, such a treat! Felt so grand yet so welcoming with an easy atmosphere and feel about the place, it felt like home and I wish it was! Large comfy rooms, everything you need and a great central location which was surprisingly peaceful with the benefit of parking in this quaint pretty town. Do... More

We've just returned from a weekend at The Old Priory and cannot recommend it highly enough, its probably one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. Robin the host has everything spot on, the bedroom was large and we could set the heating to just how we wanted it; there's a big lounge for visitors' use and the breakfast... More

We will continue to stay at this B and B while visiting from the USA , which we do twice yearly. Kelso is my home town and my Dad lives there in a small flat . This B and B is just down the street and almost feels like 'home'. The environment is a warm and comfortable, with a large... More

My Husband and I stayed for a two night week-end break at The Old Priory at the beginning of November. We had stayed in March this year and enjoyed the comfort of the accommodation and Robin's hospitality so much that we would not think of booking anywhere else despite having stayed elsewhere in Kelso on several previous occasions. The breakfast... More

We came for the races and The Old Priory was the icing on the cake. Lovely room, good size with traditional wood furniture and scrupulously clean. The bed was very comfy, the en suite was a little small, but with plenty of towels. Breakfast was also first class in a homely dining room. Try the marmalades, jams and curds! Robin... More

We recently made our annual pilgrimage to this fine establishment, which provides an unequalled base for a trip to Kelso races. This was our 7th visit and,as always,we were treated with great hospitality by mine host, Robin. The family room is my personal preference with floor to ceiling drapes and wooden shutters. The king size bed provides, without doubt, one of... More

We stayed at The Old Priory last month. At first we thought Robin was very welcoming, and he was, but he did complain about past guests a lot! The room was comfortable and on the first floor at the front. The first night the bed was turned down and the shutters closed - but only on the first night! After... More

My wife and I have just spent the weekend at the Old Priory and I must say it lived up to the plaudits it has garnered on here! We had Room 1 on the ground floor at the front. The atmosphere is that of a country house hotel in the middle of the town. If you like Morris fabrics and... More

We had to rush up to Kelso for a family emergency and were faced with trying to get a room on the Friday morning for the Friday night. A quick check of trip advisor and I saw the Old Priory, I picked up the phone and was delighted to be greeted by a cheerful Robin. Robin said they had room... More

In Kelso on a family break and stayed for two nights at The Old Priory. We were recommended to stay here by another local hotelier, and we're very glad we did. The hospitality was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate, the food was lovely and we were made very welcome. Highly recommended!
