We expected very little from this hotel, which was chosen for its location. It turned out to be a delightful overnight stay, in spacious rooms with excellent bathrooms, good service and great food. From here we went on to Inverlochy Castle, which was not as good, and more than double the price. more

I have just returned from a very relaxing 3 night stay at the charming Roxburghe Hotel and loved every minute of it. The hotel is gorgeous, very comfortable and cozy. Reading the reviews only after staying here, it seems the hotel suffers from schizophrenia. I have to agree with some of the good reviews but have to also agree with some of the very negative as well.
