Beverly and David worked hard to give us a lovely stay, all the way from a very warm welcome to the point of departure. They were interested in where we we going, they used their local knowledge to make suggestions about those places, telling us what was good or not so good, but they were never intrusive. Breakfast was always... More

Very nice old building on the loch, but the place could use an update inside, especially so that the rooms aren't quite so small. Ours faced the parking, so the loch view advantage was not there, and the room was quite small so that just finding a place to open the suitcases was tricky, and the bed was rather small... More

This guest stayed with us for one night in one of our standard double rooms, Room 4. This room has a spacious bedroom/sitting area, with a large wardrobe in the corridor that leads to a large bathroom. In fact, all our rooms have a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe to store both suitcases and their contents - we... More

Beverley was very helpful with local places to visit and local places to eat. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I enjoyed the choices at breakfast. Stayed in a standard double room for 6 nights, and travelled extensively in the surrounding area.

We had great stay at Craiglinnhe. The staff was very helpful, advising us with our itinerary & restaurants etc. nearby. Room was excellent and comfortable ( like the whole house) and since there aren't many rooms it was pleasantly quiet. Very good breakfest with multiple choice.

We are on our way by bike from Land's End to John o'Groats and spent the night at the Craiglinnhe House b&b on our way through. It was excellent, it's just a shame we have a schedule and couldn't stay longer! The guest house is wonderfully thought through, extremely efficient and very friendly. Anyone staying will most definitely have an... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here in late June. Our room overlooking the loch was very comfortable. The breakfasts were good and the lounge with the honor bar was a nice extra touch. The location is great with access to water sports, biking and hiking, and a great little 9 hole golf course, Dragon's Tooth. Beverly's recommendations for restaurants in... More

We stayed for 3 days in June. The house is in a beautiful location right on the loch, with far reaching views. The area is great for walking and touring. The rooms are cosy and well equipped (we are used to a bigger bed so sleep quality was less than wonderful but the beds are normal size). Breakfast was plentiful... More

Great location for Glencoe, Ben Nevis and the western highlands. Excellent informative welcome, filling in any knowledge or info gaps. Characterful house with the added bonus of modern facilities, so all boxes are ticked. Talking of box ticking, it's a good idea to pre order tomorrow's breakfast, so it is all hot and ready when you come down. Only downside... More

We really enjoyed our stay. This place has all the little extras such as rooms with dvd players (dvd and book library available), ipod player, nice selection of toiletries and tea facilities including hot chocolate. The lounge offers honesty based whiskey bar with good selection. The house lady is very helpful. Breakfast is nice but might be a bit monotone... More

We stayed at Craiglinnhe House for three nights in early June 2014. David and Beverley were perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. David is also well-versed in the potential hiking opportunities the area offers as he has apparently climbed many of the country's Monroes (3,000ft +) and the lesser Corbetts (2,500 to 3,000ft) so is an ideal...
