Don't make the mistake of spending just the one night at Creag Mhor Lodge - you'll regret it - this place deserves more of your time. We arrived at the large Victorian property to be greeted by the charming Evelyn who showed us to our suite overlooking Loch Linnie and gave great advice on where to eat and the 'must... more

Have just got home from a two night stay at the Creag Mhor and really did not want to leave. We selected the lodge after reviewing trip advisor and were absolutely delighted with it - in all respects. The location is stunning, overlooking a misty Loch Linnhe; ideal for photography and walking in Glencoe. The house itself is beautiful; loved... more

Alison & her family were really helpful and friendly-made us feel right at home. Lovely spacious room, very clean with a gorgeous view over the loch. Breakfast was wonderful - no kippers on the menu, but there was everything else you would want! Fabulous bar stocked with fabulous whisky-you could quite easily spend a fortune trying one after another! I... more

We had a warm reception by Alison and her mother Evelyn and were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a suite. The rooms were spacious and well furnished and the view on Loch Linnhe and the hills opposite were fairy-like. Especially the moon passing by our bedroom window one night. Our bathroom was as big as the bedroom and... more

Creag Mhor Lodge was the surprise of our two week trip. Never did we think our over programmed vacation agenda would bring us to a place of such beauty and comfortable relaxation. I highly recommend staying here and just enjoying the time at the lodge rather than running off to site see. Allison was so gracious and helpful and Allistair... more

We stopped at Creag Mhor Lodge looking for a room on our recent travels in Scotland and we are delighted that that there was 1 available! We had a great room with a fantastic view out over the loch. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a few whiskies in the evening, again looking out over the loch.... more

We stayed here after reading the reviews on Trip advisor. It certainly lived up to the recommendations. right from the time of telephone booking the service was very personal and extremely helpful. We had the two front rooms and found them very roomy, comfortable clean and well equipped. The welcome by every member of the family was wonderful as was... more

Fantastic place. The hotel is excellently run by a lovely family. It is clean and comfortable throughout. Unbelievable breakfast fest; my mother would rush down for her cooked breakfast. My only regret was that the stay of 4 days was too short! One minor caveat: those with mobility problems should inform them upon booking to secure a ground floor room... more

Creag Mhor is without doubt a wonderful place to stay. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. We really felt part of the family during our stay and enjoyed an evening or two in the 'Wee Drop'. Our room was of the highest quality with stunning views. Will look forward to... more

We were on a first trip around Scotland and this was our first stop after flying into Glasgow. We only stayed 1 night but Creag Mhor Lodge certainly set a very high standard and expectation for the remainder of our trip. The hospitality and welcome was excellent and the rooms were very well appointed and we had a lovely view... more
