Positioning is great. Breakfast was lovely. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Super as a base for touring the area and avoiding Fort William (I am not a fan of Fort William). Lovely views across the Loch. Just some constructive points - we had a family room which was large enough and slept all 4 of us comfortably. Master bed should... More

Nice rooms overlooking the lake. Very cosy lounge with open fire as it can be cold in Scotland even in summertime. Hotel has no dining facilities but try Loch leven seafood restaurant , a few mile away along Loch Leven

We got room 6 which was very large and had a amazing view to the loch. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere in the hotel . Wifi only in lounge downstairs which was a shame

My wife and I stayed here two years ago and were eager to go back. We had the same lovely room overlooking the Loch and it was as comfortable as we remembered. The room was large and had a high ceiling. The bed was very good and the bathroom was huge with a giant tub. Our only complaint was the... More

The house is beautiful, overlooking the loch and we were fortunate to have a large room with outstanding loch view. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent, although the stated time of 8am - 9am was a little rigid. The residents' lounge was very cosy and reasonably priced drinks were available, along with advice about whisky.... More

This was at one time a beautiful lodge, those times are past, but the new owners are trying their best to bring it back. It operates as a bed & breakfast now. The rooms are quite pleasant, as are the bathrooms. It is old and it creaks, which is part of the charm of this old building. It sits at... More

We have just returned home after a fantastic stay at the Creag Mhor Lodge. There was 8 in our party and we were celebrating our dads 80th birthday. The receptionist was one in a million. Sorry but I have forgotten your name but you made our stay extra special by going the extra mile..standing in the rain to take a... More

The Creag Mohr Lodge is a wonderfully restored property. The owners are taking great care to maintain the integrity of this historic property. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities that one would expect at a first rate establishment. The breakfast was plentiful. The owners were on hand to answer any questions and make sure everything was to... More

The hotel was brilliantly located facing the loch and within 30 minutes drive of fort William. Unfortunately our room was on the side but we did manage to get a bit of a view. Breakfast was adequate but f you wanted to leave early or have a lie in - forget it. Breakfast was between 8 - 9, no exceptions.... More

My dad booked this for us through Laterooms.com as we were attending a relatives funeral in Lochaline and struggled to find accommodation. We arrived at 3pm hoping to be able to check in early, whilst aware that the check in didn't start till 4pm - it was a miserable day and we thought we'd see if it was possible. We... More
