A wonderful visit. The staff were all friendly, helpful and took the time to answer questions and help out. I saw this with all guests, not just myself. The location is gorgeous and the property charming, even more so as the owners have lovingly restored it. It's well located for access to nearby walks and sights. They serve a hearty... More

The staff were great and could not do enough to help. They were also genuine. The room was comfy and clean, the shower large and good, the bed comfy with a good quality mattress, breakfast was great with a good range and promptly served. The bar was just superb. The bar man knowledgable and helpful. The views from this bed and... More

In many ways our stay at the Creag Mhor Lodge was positive. It is in an ideal location, with a spectacular view of the loch. The lounge / bar and rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful and the service of the young wait staff was attentive and thoughtful. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by... More

The whisky bar is rated in the top 100 in Scotland. The halls and corridors are lined with locked glass cases holding a mighty collection of rare scotch. On our night, the ladies behind the bar were welcoming and knowledgeable about the bottles on display and we had a great evening. But this lodge is much more than whisky. We... More

After a scenic drive down from Fort William, surrounded by mountains and alongside Loch Linnhe, the magnificent building of Creag Mhor was easily identified. We were given a warm welcome and shown to a modernised but traditional and spacious room with stunning views. The staff are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere very homely. For... More

We stayed in the family room 9, this is very comfortable , clean and tidy. The bathroom ceiling is a wee bit peeling but just a minor observation. The whisky bar is exceptional for a small hotel (b+b), we played cards in the the lounge with fellow guest and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Thanks Tomas for excellent service. Breakfast... Evelyn is very good on email and I sent her a note saying that we would be arriving late and could she find us a place for dinner. Got right back and had already made the reservation. Yes, the bar really does stock over 300 types of whiskey and Evelyn serves them expertly. Of course the large comfy living room... More

Creag Mhor lodge was lovely in every way! Our room looked out to the beautiful loch and misty mountains. The large lounge/living room area was nicely arranged for either conversation with other travelers or a late night cap from the well equipped bar! The full Scottish breakfast in the large elegant formal dining room was wonderful! Our room had a... More

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, with incredible ever-changing views across the loch. The young man attending the bar was knowledgeable about the whiskys available and helped us select a very nice one to enjoy by the fire. The location is great, central to both Ft. William and Glen Coe for walking. Breakfast was plentiful... More
