The Isles of Glencoe hotel is a very welcoming place, staff are friendly and approachable, rooms are basic but sufficient, the two big plus points (1) the stunning views from the rooms over the water and mountains. (2)The food is as good as you would get at any top hotel or restaurant. Will be back, would reccomend anyone to stay.

An overnight stay at the Isles of Glencoe was just the tonic for a miserable January. A short drive from the stunning Glencoe, especially in winter, the hotel is on the shore of Loch Leven. The room we had looked out to the loch and having doors to let our dog out was a bonus. Staff were more than helpful,... More

Enjoyed overnight stay, Dbb. Nice atmosphere, staff friendly and efficient, room bright and spacious, lovely view; bathroom could do with refurbishment. But it was clean, nice towels and hot water. A great location for exploring Glencoe, Oban, Fort William and farther North.

Called in fairly late on a Saturday night for a meal. Food was delicious, service was exemplary and the friendly staff went above and beyond the call of duty to be helpful. Can't praise it highly enough.

Just returned from an overnight stay including dinner and a bottle of wine. Very good value indeed! On arrival we were met by a friendly and informative receptionist. The hotel was cosy and well heated on a chilly January day! The pool - although we didn't use it - looked inviting! The choice of food both at dinner and breakfast... More

We booked a midweek bed and breakfast winter deal at this hotel and thought it was amazing value. The standard room was spacious, the bathroom perhaps a little dated but perfectly fine. The room had amazing views across the loch towards the pap of glencoe. The restaurant/breakfast room also shares this view. The breakfast is good, self service style, choice... More

To be fair, Isles is in the process of a bit of an update, had this not been the case I might be a bit more harsh. However, the room we stayed in was good but basic the bathroom needed a serious refresh, to call it dated would be an understatement. The bed is probably due for replacement, while it... More

Many thanks for your comments, GRWhiteDavison. It is great to hear that you did have a good stay with us. Our public areas and swimming pool did see some essential maintenance work in January 2015 but unfortunately this work hasn’t happened in other areas within the hotel but we do hope to continue this work over the years to come.... I have been coming to the Isles of Glencoe for the last 25 years as a retreat of tranquillity and for the soothing of my soul. I will never forget at the age of 19 my first sight of the mountains of Glencoe and then the village where the loch opens up the glen in front of you. I stood... More
