stayed overnight -room was beautiful overlooking loch leven, very clean and comfortable. reception very warm and helpful. breakfast very good buffet choice. the only let-down was the leisure suite as the thermostat kept failing in the bio-sauna and the light was faulty too.

Love the location of this hotel. We really enjoyed sitting outside our room in the evening, very peaceful. The service was wonderful. Dinners were lovely as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Scotland.

Decided to finish off the most amazing time in the north of Scotland with a stop over in this hotel. The room was fine, although there was a drainage problem and the bathroom had an unpleasant odour. Overall though, I would say that the hotel was fine, if a wee bit shoddy looking. This was a pity because it wasn't... More

Mixed business with pleasure. Had a meeting north of Spean Bridge so decided to stay night before with my wife, travelling from Broughty Ferry. Views beautiful and room spotlessly clean. Food and service first class. All this hotel needs is some money spent on it and it will be restored to its original glory. First visit in 2000 and will... More

We stayed for 4 nights on the dinner bed and breakfast spring rate, which was great value for money. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The location on the Loch is just a beautiful way to way up each morning. Sun, mist, or rain still show the scenery in a fantastic light. The food was really good and though the... More

Booked for 1 night on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast rate which seemed good enough value at £120 for a superior room with a Loch View, this had direct access outside to the grounds which was a bonus as we were travelling with our two doochies ( dogs ). The room and the view did not dissapoint as both were... More

Thank you for your review VMATHESONMACIVER. It’s excellent to hear that you found the patio doors in your room a great benefit with your dog’s staying too. We regularly have guests requesting these rooms for that exact reason so they can step straight out and go for walkies. More

Stayed 2 nights and the views could not be better. Communal areas need updating as furnishings are soiled and worn. Bedroom was ok but noise travel from room above was unbelievable - people walking around sounded as if they were coming through the ceiling. Evening meals were ok but breakfast was very poor - Luke warm, unappetising food on cold... More

Ouch! It was quite a sore one reading your review berks5. It seems there were quite a few things amiss from your stay that has led to a less than impressive break for you so our apologies. Hopefully with our development plans for the future another visit would be somewhat different should you wish to give us another try. More

This is our Night Number Two of our CIE Tour to Scotland, hotel we stayed at. The Loch we were on, the water was like glass, Such a Breath Taking View. This hotel nestles on the side of a peninsula reaching into Loch Leven at the foot of Glencoe. Only one night, but the photos we took, were beautiful
