I think this hotel was pretty good as far as I'm concerned. The loch outside the room was a huge bonus and provided a wonderful backdrop to the stay, and the surrounding village (of course in such a historic location), was fascinating. The swimming pool could possibly have done with a bit of a clean, as could the restaurant area,... More

Having read some of the reviews we were a bit nervous about staying here but as it was close to our ferry to Mull we thought we would give it a go and we had an excellent stay. Room was upstairs but close to the bar, we slept well with no noise even though the windows were open, the view... More

Travelling with our 3 year old, we thought this would be a practical choice. Indeed it has many good points. The family rooms have a wee recess with a bunk bed for the children (YAY!), but only one armchair in the room (boo). It also has a TINY warm pool, which delighted our daughter and outside, the usual slide and... More

stayed overnight -room was beautiful overlooking loch leven, very clean and comfortable. reception very warm and helpful. breakfast very good buffet choice. the only let-down was the leisure suite as the thermostat kept failing in the bio-sauna and the light was faulty too.

Love the location of this hotel. We really enjoyed sitting outside our room in the evening, very peaceful. The service was wonderful. Dinners were lovely as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Scotland.

Decided to finish off the most amazing time in the north of Scotland with a stop over in this hotel. The room was fine, although there was a drainage problem and the bathroom had an unpleasant odour. Overall though, I would say that the hotel was fine, if a wee bit shoddy looking. This was a pity because it wasn't... More

Mixed business with pleasure. Had a meeting north of Spean Bridge so decided to stay night before with my wife, travelling from Broughty Ferry. Views beautiful and room spotlessly clean. Food and service first class. All this hotel needs is some money spent on it and it will be restored to its original glory. First visit in 2000 and will... More

We stayed for 4 nights on the dinner bed and breakfast spring rate, which was great value for money. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The location on the Loch is just a beautiful way to way up each morning. Sun, mist, or rain still show the scenery in a fantastic light. The food was really good and though the... More

Booked for 1 night on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast rate which seemed good enough value at £120 for a superior room with a Loch View, this had direct access outside to the grounds which was a bonus as we were travelling with our two doochies ( dogs ). The room and the view did not dissapoint as both were... More

Thank you for your review VMATHESONMACIVER. It’s excellent to hear that you found the patio doors in your room a great benefit with your dog’s staying too. We regularly have guests requesting these rooms for that exact reason so they can step straight out and go for walkies. More
