We stayed for 2 nights at the Rowan House and were delighted with the experience. The room we stayed in was lovely and the whole house is simply immaculate. Steve and Wendy are great hosts, very welcoming but also happy to leave you to it. The breakfasts each morning were amazing and very needed after a 16 mile walk the... More

Wendy and Steve have the gift of offering a relatively rare type of hospitality where things are kept simple yet excellent quality abounds: there's no fuss yet they are there and present to one's needs. Warmth and generosity make for a very good atmosphere here. I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed exploring local walks and learning about history of... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as an anniversary treat for myself and my husband. He is recovering from lymphatic cancer and we couldn't have picked a better place. Absolutely gorgeous accomodation.. Spotless.. Comfy.. And the hosts couldn't do enough for us. The views from the room were amazing. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide choice. We had some great banter... More

Beautifull location, pleasant owners, very comfy beds and great cooked breakfast! It was just an overnight stay for us - last stop in Scotland on the way back to London, but it would be a great stay in the area for longer visits as well. The hosts very very helpful getting in touch in advance to let us know there... More

We have just returned from a two day stay with Wendy and Steve and and wanted to reiterate what other people had said about this accommodation. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast and a really comfortable bed.My husband managed to forget his razor and Wendy managed to produce one for him to use which was fantastic as we were there to attend... We recently stayed at Rowan House when visiting Loch Goil for our daughters wedding. Wendy and Steve were excellent hosts and really looked after us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked at a time to suit us and was excellent. We had a problem with our car and Steve and Wendy were both there to offer... More

What a beautiful house in a stunning location. My husbands words "imaculate" wendy and steven were fantastic hosts who couldnt do enough to help us and make our stay pleasant. Room big with ensuite and picturesque views. Breakfast was lovely and particularly enjoyed the shortbread in our rooms. Would certainly visit again!

A beautiful place to stay. The breakfast was excellent, the hosts couldn't be more helpful. Very homely and booking the en-suite is defiantly worth it for added comfort and luxury. Great size room and very, vey comfortable.

Have just returned from a weekend away at this great little B&B, to celebrate an anniversary. Wendy and Stephen made us feel comfortable from the get go. The room was large and with a stunning view of the loch, and great little en suite. Hosts went out of their way to help us when we had car trouble, and even... More
