Just want to reiterate everyone's view of thatch cottage b&b, beautiful location, wonderful little thatch cottage all to yourself but above all the welcome you get from nancy and her husband paul, you couldn't get anyone more welcoming and sitting in their kitchen eating a lovely breakfast and sampling Nancy's wonderful homemade marmalade whilst engaging in conversation is not to be... It is difficult to imagine a more lovely cottage than Thatch Cottage. It is an arch-typical thatch cottage, with a sitting room with television and fireplace on the ground floor, and the bedroom upstairs. The bed is comfortable with very nice linen and the bathroom if quite modern. The cottage is within easy and safe walking distance of Lacock. Breakfast... More

My husband and I spent two amazing nights at the Thatch Cottage as part of a 2-week multi-country vacation. Nancy was a most gracious host, and the Thatch Cottage lived up to the posted photos - it was truly magical. Nancy offers a variety of breakfast options, from the full English breakfast (which had my very American husband in absolute... More

Like having our own lovely little cottage with private entrance. Thatch Cottage B&B offers an attractive and comfortable sitting room downstairs with a gas stove in the fireplace, and a comfortable loft bedroom. Private bathroom is downstairs across the entry hall. Windows overlook the quiet country road or Nancy's attractive garden. Breakfast is through an adjoining door in her cozy... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in May and had quite the enjoyable experience. Nancy is a wonderful host, great cook and very knowledgable about the are. The cottage itself is very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The main part of Lacock was around a 15 minute stroll and don't allow yourself to be misled... More

We've just returned home from an enjoyable weekend at Thatch Cottage. A beautiful cosy cottage with lots of charm and character. Nancy and Paul were perfect hosts and very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and Nancy went to a lot of trouble to make sure the food was suitable for our needs. The accommodation was spotless and everything had been thought... More

We stayed at the thatched cottage for one night whilst visiting the area. We instantly felt welcomed by Nancy and were immediately impressed with the cottage. The attention to detail is amazing, with so many thoughtful additions and touches throughout. This included a fully filled bathroom cabinet with all your essentials you many have forgotten to pack, lovely pictures, board... More
