A very remarkable and memorable place, full to the brim with antiquities and curios of all shapes and sizes. Everywhere you looked there was at least one surprising object d'art and often more than one! The view from our harbour view was simply beautiful. There was so much that we enjoyed: our clean and superbly located bedroom, lovely fluffy towels... More

This is the first review I have ever written but Millers at the Anchor deserves it. We have stayed here three or four times and have been very pleased with every visit. The service has always been first class and we just love the quirky appeal of the place. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and both... More

Welcomed by Tanya who was very friendly, our room number 2 was very comfortable with beautiful views over the harbour. The whole hotel was filled with amazing antiques and wonderful furniture, we didn't know what to look at first. We had a Miller's gin and tonic, which was very delicious.... More

Called in for morning coffee. Definitely recommend this unusual place. The curios make a great atmosphere and the staff and coffee were lovely. The situation was perfect, even though it was a bit drizzly outside. Get down there!

Initial impressions were of a faded hotel but by the time we left we loved the place. It's hard to convey the atmosphere of such a quirky place. The staff were consistently delightful - welcoming, helpful and efficient. The food was very good. We loved the 'dinner and movie' deal. The private cinema was fun if rather cool although blankets... The minute you step into Millers, you realise this is certainly not your run of the mill hotel! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the whole atmosphere is relaxed. Every room is full of collectables and antiques, some lovely, some not so lovely, but all fascinating and there to be explored. Bedrooms are certainly quirky and may not be... More

Loved this hotel the minute we stepped through the door - such a magical and homely atmosphere with the smell of log fires, relaxing background music, candlelight and so many antiques tastefully displayed. The surroundings are so unusual and quirky and such a refreshing change to run of the mill reception areas you usually find. Staff were attentive but in... More

How do you sum up this place? Is it a restaurant, hotel, antique shop or Steptoe's Yard? I guess the answer to that question is 'all of the above.' The hotel is in a lovely position, right on the harbours edge, offering views over Porlock Bay, to the South coast of Wales and every room is absolutely filled to the... More
