We have just returned from a long weekend staying in The Coach House in Porlock Weir. Having read the reviews on here before we went, our expectations were high. Believe me, we were not disappointed. The apartment has been very thoughfully equiped, and lacks for nothing, right down to the smallest detail. It is literally like being home from home.... More

We had a wonderful short Christmas break staying at Dunn's Cottage. The accommodation was very clean and homely with everything we needed and much more (including some much needed duck tape for my daughter's car at one point). The log fire was amazing, warming our hearts as well as the house and providing a lovely homely atmosphere on Christmas night... More

We stayed in Quay Cottage and had a perfect holiday experience from start to finish. The cottage itself was quirky and very cosy so we felt at home straight away. The booking process was easy and efficient and small touches like milk in the fridge for when we arrived and lights on in the house to guide the way made... More

What can I say, perfection is the only word, from the stunning setting to the decor with everything you could possibly need with Caroline the most charming hostess. Porlock Weir is beautiful almost in a time warp, very quiet and unspoilt. It was lovely to sit outside at breakfast looking at the weir, then later to walk down and hardly see anybody else.It... More

After a weekend at All Tomorrow's Parties music festival at Butlins in Minehead, this was just the sort of pampering we needed to gear up for our second weekend at Butlins! The Stable Block cottage was beautiful, cosy and full of thoughtful touches. The bed was amazing - snuggling under the fluffiest duvet to watch the TV (rising out of... More

Well, all the reviews are accurate. This place was faultless. The accomodation had everything you could need gadget wise, including an I Pod dock, hairdryer and straighteners, and Sky +. A lovely touch was the bottle of wine left for us, and milk in the fridge. The best thing about the cottage was the views, especially from the bedroom. we... More

The Stable Block was the perfect place for a quiet and peaceful stay. There were many thoughtful touches including milk in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine. The owners were friendly yet discreet. The views out over the bay are magnificent. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and look forward to returning. More

We've just come back from an Easter break staying at The Stables and we honestly couldn't think of anywhere better to stay in Porlock. The Stables from the outside is deceptively small - looks almost hobbit sized, but once inside the conversion is just so well done and really spacious - definitly worth it's 5* status. All mod cons in... More

I stayed at St Anthonys Cottage for a long weekend with my boyfriend. The location is perfect and the cottage has wonderful views where you could easily spend a few hours just watching the sea. The cottage is very well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen contains every utensil you could possible need! This is definately a place we would... More
