We stayed in Quay Cottage, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, too. The cottage was really quirky, with odd things in odd places, strange but fun pictures on the walls, all very, very clean and overall well equipped. (A radio shaped like a fish, ancient models of Mickey and Minnie, loads to make you smile) Literally the only criticism is the... More

These comments relate specifically to The Coach House apartment. Stayed here before a few years ago in the winter months and this time did it in Spring. The coach house has room for 2 people since it is basically open from the kitchen up into the bedroom. Very nice space, clean and well decorated. Kitchen is well furnished with utensils... More

Spent 4 nights here in nov, yes it was gloomy outside, but this is the perfect location for a get away no matter what the season. Communication with the business concerning payment and details of arrival were all very clear. House was clean and beautifully presented and had everything we needed! Amazing views!

Just returned from a long weekend stay in The Stable Block in Porlock Weir. This is our second stay, having been totally impressed with a stay earlier in the year, and indeed, we are due to return again before the end of the year. It is tucked away in a very quiet setting, yet just a 5 minute stroll from... More

Stayed at St Anthonys Cottage and was excellent. The view is superb from all rooms and the cottage has everything you will need. The kitchen is well stocked with even a dishwasher and a washer/dryer is available. A short stroll to the village centre and Porlock is a brisk 2 mile walk. 5 star all round.

Luxury, architect designed conversion to very high standard with contemporary fittings. Loved the underfloor heating under the stone floor downstairs. The view and the sound of the sea were to die for and we could not keep off the little balcony, whether it was for breakfast, with a book or a glass of wine. Open and airy with amazing views... We absolutely loved the location of the property with its outstanding sea views and it was great to be less than a 5 minute walk down to Porlock Weir itself. We ate at the (Bottom) Ship Inn overlooking the weir on a couple of nights and had afternoon tea at Porlock Weir Cafe the day of our departure. Would recommend... More

Gorgeous little cottage with views of the beach or harbour from every window. Very comfortable beds, gorgeous bed linen, spacious living area, real fire and a garden tat backs straight onto the beach. We loved it, wish we could have stayed longer. The little fish and chip shop on the quay is fantastic too. All in all a great cottage... More
