Today I took a party of 14 people for afternoon tea to the Longmynd Hotel. The staff showed us to a table which was bare and pointed to a servery table in the corner. We actually got no service and the food provided was poor. What a shame. They also made a mess of the bill. Will not be returning.

Good beer, good food. Great location. For a walking holiday it is ideal and there a several routes nearby. Weather was surprisingly nice for March. Staff were helpful with anything you needed. Was again surprisingly busy. Stayed as a group of 15+. Nice rooms. Hotel is a bit dated. Staff and service good.
