We stayed for 2 nights in the Balcony Room. The views from both the bedroom and the breakfast room/ lounge are stunning. The owners Alan and Lynn welcomed us with Tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival. We were made very welcome and their recommendations of where to eat were spot on. The whole place is immaculately clean, beds are very comfortable.... More

Four of us have just had a lovely 3 nights at Highlands. Alan and Lyn were the most relaxed and welcoming B&B hosts we have come across. There was lots of laughter as well as a pretty perfect 'set up' in terms of practicalities. The rooms were great, the food was great, and it was very civilsed to have use... More

Lynn and Alan are wonderful hosts. They make you feel completely at home in their lovely house. We stayed in the Balcony Room, which was more like a suite in a 5 star hotel! Excellent breakfasts' with locally sourced ingredients were a great start to our days and advice given on dining out at night ensured we had a particularly... More

Although we could only stay one night here, this was a wonderful find. The Highlands is in a fantastic location and our room, with a stunning view over Church Stretton to the hills beyond, was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Alan and Lynn are charming hosts - warm, welcoming and kindness itself. These are the sort of folk who... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Highlands and the excellent breakfast set us up for a busy day. We found the owners to be extremely helpful and very accommodating. The room was very clean and we enjoyed a lovely view across the garden and Church Stretton countryside. We ould recommend this B&B.

Comfortable accommodation and facilities. Convivial hosts who provide real milk in a jug in the room's fridge - very unusual, but most welcome. Two easy chairs in a double room; nearly all places only give you one. Would definitely return.

We recently spent 4 wonderful nights at Highlands and can heartily agree with thoughts expressed in some of the other reviews. This is one of the very best B&B’s. Alan & Lynn are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. We were offered tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival which were just what we... More

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here and were warmly welcomed and looked after by Alan and Lynn. The balcony room was big and bright with fresh milk in the fridge which made a pleasant change from the UHT provided in so many other places. It was lovely to sit on the balcony drinking tea and watching the birds.... More

If any one is thinking of running a B&B they should visit Alan & Lynn to see how it is done. An extremely warm welcome and the fact we arrived quite late was not a problem. The breakfast was a gorgeous traditional English Breakfast. Alan's garage was at our disposal to secure our bikes. The accommodation was extremely clean and... More

We spent a four day break in this lovely home. Alan and Lynn made us feel very much at ease and they were very happy to help us plan our evenings to local restaurants. The breakfasts are traditional English - full if you like, or just egg and toast. Good quality food is served and extras are available for those... More
