What a lovely stay, such a beautiful house in great surroundings, ideal for walking or exploring Church Stretton, Shrewsbury or other nearby places. We stayed in the Lawley Room with amazing views and lovely little touches to make you feel at home and what a superb breakfast also. The whole place is such a treat, we were made to feel... More

This was our third visit to Lawley House and already we can't wait for the fourth. The house is beautiful and so are the gardens, with dahlias, sedum, roses and sweet peas in bloom, and breath taking views to the fields and hills beyond. Jackie and Jim welcomed us with tea and cakes, and they now feel like good friends.... More

We love this place. The whole ambiance is extraordinary. The hosts, Jackie and Jim, are a delight and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped. The communal areas, (not that we saw anyone else,) are superb and dressed with impeccable taste. The gardens and views are to die for! We cannot recommend this establishment... More

Thank you Jackie and Jim for being wonderful hosts and for sharing such a lovely place in the middle of south Shropshire! It's so peaceful and the views are stunning. Nothing was too much trouble and their warmth towards us, including my elderly parents, was exemplary. Can't recommend this enough. Four days felt like four weeks!

This bed and breakfast is deep in the country in a delightful house with an outstanding garden. All the facilities are first class, with bedrooms having splendid views. One receives a warm welcome and careful attention throughout one's visit. The breakfasts are all that one could wish for. A very pleasant experience. Highly recommended. P.B.Morice

Lawley House is set in outstanding gardens well off the beaten track in Shropshire. A warm welcome by Jackie followed by afternoon tea in the conservatory set the scene for what could only be described as B&B at its best. Jackie is an old hand at B&B, and it shows in attention to detail, her lovely breakfast and the rooms... More

We only spent one night in Lawley House but we enjoyed this short stay thoroughly. Jim and Jackie are great hosts who give you such a warm welcome with tea and cakes that you you feel immediately at home. It's a pleasure to talk with them while enjoying the view over the phantastic garden. The house would be difficult to... More

Much of what has already been said we agree with wholeheartedly. We spent three nights in the Wrekin room and found it comfortable and equipped with everything one could ask for. Wonderful views and blissfully comfortable beds plus excellent breakfasts! The hospitality was immediate with tea and cake in the conservatory and throughout our stay we felt like invited guests... We recently spent two nights at this lovely B&B, and were warmly welcomed by Jackie and Jim. The house is large and clearly a loved family home. The Wrekin room which we had has the most amazing views and is very well appointed and comfortable. So nice to have a little fridge in the room (surprisingly quiet) which contained fresh... More

My husband discovered Lawley House in 2010 and I have been longing to go back ever since. A birthday celebration gave the perfect excuse and once again, we were bowled over by the warm welcome from Jackie and Jim, personal service and great conversation. But what makes a weekend here extra special is the house and setting; the house is... More
