I have just stayed at the Mount for another long weekend. Got the same warm welcome from Louise and teh same great breakfasts. The ensuite room was spacious and immaculately clean with a great view of the Long Mynd. A great place to stay!

I'm not sure I've ever felt so welcomed in a B&B as nothing seemed too much trouble and the facilities (bike storage, hosing down area, drying room) were brilliant. The room was great too - plenty of space and a really comfy bed. Breakfast at The Mount topped it all though. Loads of choice, fresh produce, some of it homemade,... More

I stayed at the Mount B&B the weekend just gone for a Mountain Biking weekend with friends. The owners were very welcoming and friendly; nothing was ever too much trouble. Has to be one of the best B&B's I've stayed in, it's a lovely house in an amazing location for MTB'ing. I would strongly recommend it and will staying there... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in June as part of a group on a mountain biking weekend in the local area. Attention to detail and good old fashion customer service where standouts for the stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - including a drying room and hose to clean down the bikes. Best of... More

We were made to feel most welcome by Louise in this lovely house just 10 mins walk from centre of Church Strettton. We were in between spells of camping so it was nice to have a hot bath in a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was very good and well cooked. Nice view of the Long Mynd from our bedroom. Eating... More

Stayed here for 4 days. It was great: I received a warm welcome and the room was airy and really comfortable. Had great breakfasts. All you could ask for in lovely Church Stretton.

We have just had a first class stay at the Mount. The welcome on our arrival and the warmth of the owner was appreciated. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Attention to detail was on par with 5 star hotel. Tea and coffee making with cold fresh milk in a flask with the ever topped up biscuits and... More

A fine house wih beautifully kept rooms. Very convenient for the centre of Church Stretton and a useful base for walks in the surrounding countryside.

The Mount is a fantastic place to stay, it is not just a run of the mill B&B, it is Louise & Martins home. This makes for a warm & welcoming place to stay for anybody wanting to escape for a relaxing weekend, for me one of the best places I've stayed. The room (Blue room) was faultless & the... More
