From the beginning when we saw our cottage and its location in real life, we knew it matched up to the website. We were very happy for the next 7 days, making this our base and doing great walks and drives around the area. Having walked across to the island in the dark, we awoke to a misty morning looking across the loch, no one else in sight. Dry Island's also within easy reach of the Torridon hills, allowing us to combine days by... more

We stayed here for a week on a bed and breakfast basis and it was fantastic. The accomodation is situated on its own island in the middle of loch Gairloch, and is reached by a floating bridge. The situation was idillic; the room was well furnished and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities (and had lots of information about local... more
