What a lovely small hotel!! We stopped at this hotel four years ago for lunch as we travelled through the area. We knew we had to come back and stay! Situated on the shore of Strath Bay the view is spectacular across the water to the Isle of Skye. We were greeted by friendly staff and our room was a... More

My sister and I stayed for one night earlier in October. We had a twin room with sea view. We found the bedroom and it's furnishings very clean and comfortable. Beds were nice and cosy! The bathroom was modern, plush and immaculate. The sea view is worth the slightly higher cost - the sunset was framed in the window like... More

I didnt stay in this hotel but came in for a meal and a couple of pints. I have to say the service and food here was superb and the view of the sunset and subsequent moon over Skye from the sun lounge area was to die for !

Life could never be bad when you waken up here! This is an honest hotel, with excellent food. The hotel is spotless with extremely comfortable rooms, and good Wi-Fi connections. The staff are extremely pleasant, nothing is too much trouble, and well the views, they speak for themselves, wonderful.

My wife and myself booked in to this hotel for my 70th birthday . I had searched reviews of hotels in this area and the "Myrtle" seemed to meet all our needs. We were not disappointed. It is not a 5* hotel but then it does not pretend to be. It is a very good little hotel in a charming village... More

Myrtle Bank hotel was a mixture of old and new. The bedroom, with a lovely loch view was clean, spacious, well appointed and modern. However, some of the public areas looked a little dated and in need of modernisation. The lounge bar could have had more comfortable chairs for after dinner relaxation. The food was delicious and the staff extremely... More

We had a room with sea view which was excellent. Very clean and spacious. Easy parking. The staff were all top standard and very friendly, especially Olivia. The food in the restaurant is also excellent. A very good hotel in a quaint little village.

On our recent visit to the Western Isles we visited the Myrtle Hotel Gairloch on the spur of the moment for an early evening meal. The standard of cleanliness in the hotel was superb and the young staff were very pleasant, very friendly and extremely professional. We were seated at a table in the window with a beautiful view of... More

Stayed for 1 night in room 11 which was a lovely large room overlooking the loch with a king size bed, everything was spotlessly clean in the room and bathroom. The bed was really comfortable with plenty pillows and very quiet. Dinner was nice but I was disappointed as there were no langoustines left. Breakfast was very good. Would stay... More

I stayed here for two nights during August Bank Holiday as a solo traveller. It's set in a gorgeous location facing the bay. Will definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Gairloch. Friendly staff, great food (I ate in both nights). You won't be disappointed. I will definitely return if I plan to be in the... More
