Stayed for 1 night in room 11 which was a lovely large room overlooking the loch with a king size bed, everything was spotlessly clean in the room and bathroom. The bed was really comfortable with plenty pillows and very quiet. Dinner was nice but I was disappointed as there were no langoustines left. Breakfast was very good. Would stay... More

I stayed here for two nights during August Bank Holiday as a solo traveller. It's set in a gorgeous location facing the bay. Will definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Gairloch. Friendly staff, great food (I ate in both nights). You won't be disappointed. I will definitely return if I plan to be in the... More

We arrived here late one night, bedraggled and windswept after our tent blew down. The staff were helpful and friendly making us feel welcome at a time when we didn't feel at our best. The lounge was pleasant with great views over the bay. Then a mishap happened and at 11 pm we needed the help of a doctor. The... More

Booked at table for dinner. The views across the bay from the restaurant are fabulous. The dinner menu had plenty of choice, with a few different items. Like beer battered beetroot as a starter, which was actually very nice. The portion sizes were very good. Service was good too from a young waiting team who always had a smile. The... More

An extremely well appointed hotel on Gairloch, Western Highlands. Scotland, within easy reach of Inverness, just off the main road, with wonderful views of the Loch and excellent food (local and plenty from the sea). Rooms airy and spacious, people very helpful and pleasant. Walks and boat trips around. Including glass bottomed). Well worth a visit.

Our second visit here. We stayed in Room 16. My husband, myself and 11 yrs old son. Plenty of room for the three of us. Our bed was enormous and very comfy, as was our son's sofa bed. The room was light and airy with a modern bathroom with large shower unit. It was so peaceful and tranquil. The staff... More

My husband and I stopped off here for one night whilst doing the North Coast 500 tour on our motorbikes recently. We were very wet and on booking in to our room the lady on reception said she would take our wet gear and hang it up in the laundry room to dry. Fantastic!! We had a fantastic stay and... More

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. I couldn't praise them too highly. The hotel is a few steps from the sea. The lounges and many of the guest rooms provide fine sea views. The hotel has pleasant fresh decor and is spotlessly clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good with plenty of choice. We were a family group... More

I enjoyed this place although we only popped in for a few drinks. It was busy but very friendly with a decent selection of real ales. My son was made very welcome and there seemed to be a good mix of tourists and locals in with a semi serious darts tournament on the go!

If I am lucky enough to get up to Gairloch again I would definitely try and stay here as the views are amazing. We were staying up the top at Bay Gairloch which was nice but we liked to pop down here for a drink and were alway greeted with a friendly welcome. The view from the conservatory or garden... More
