We stayed here for a week on business paying less than £60 per night including breakfast. This place is what it is, it's clean and comfortable and a place to rest your head. As others have said the place is a little dated and very much caters for coach parties staying a night or two. The rooms have tiny TV's... More

Stayed here end sept 2014 for 3 nights whilst on motorbike tour of west coast scotland with my wife.big safe secluded car park so no problems with security of bike. Friendly staff . The manager showed us tio room on arrival and breakfast area...plus "honesty bar"...the unmanned hotel bar...help yourself and tick a box if you consume any. I kid... More

This is quite a big hotel for such a small place as Gairloch, but it has a friendly feel, the owner having great knowledge of the area, and we enjoyed our stay. All the staff were very helpful. The hotel has a spacious and comfy lounge with lots of books and a computer with internet connection for guests to use,... More

I came up to Gairloch to go whale watching with my Dad and found this hotel through trip advisor. We had a large triple room in the annexe. The room was comfortable and well equipped, a breakfast was included in the price and there was a plentiful hot buffet on offer, well cooked. Good service and in Alastair a great... More

Alastair our welcoming host is a fund of local knowledge and was so helpful telling us about places to go to and things to do. He is a Travel Information Centre all of his own. We were welcomed at short notice due to an unfortunate stay elsewhere in Gairloch. The hotel is 'no frills' but comfortable and a good self... More

I've stayed here four times, and once in the sister Old Inn. The lodge has a 70's charm to it. Lots of wood panelling and high ceilings in the breakfast room. It has an attraction which brings my travelling group back repeatedly. Seven people this time on a b&b rate with us always using the nearby Old Inn for the... More

Stayed one night, comfortable room helpful informative owner. Pub down the road very good food. If you are biking in the far north worth considering. Nice touch with the honesty bar. Also lodge gives you a 10% discount voucher for the pub.

We stayed at the Gairloch Highland Lodge for two nights as part of a touring holiday. We were travelling with out two teenage daughters (16 & 13) andwere in one of the family rooms with bunk beds. Everybody at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming. It is not the kind of standard product that you will find when visiting... More

Why, because we expected at least what had been advertised. Our first surprise was when we booked and the site said that while a credit card was required there would be no debit made until after we stayed. On pushing the 'confirm' button we found that we were one day outside the 14 day cancellation period and we would already... More

I had organised a holiday for our advanced motorcycle group and we spent 5 nights at this location. It was very quiet except for one night when some younger guests made a commotion early hours of the morning outside and inside. The hotel was situated near a lovely harbour with nice views and not too far from a petrol station... More
