Stayed twice recently on business. First room don't the back of the hotel was nothing special. Second trip got a room upstairs, this was much better. The bar is friendly with great staff, and the food is equally as good. The hotel is in an absolutely gorgeous part of the world. I'd have no hesitation returning, and hopefully will

My partner and myself decided to eat here as it was situated close to our b&b. Upon entering we weren't greeted, so we found our own table. Upon sitting down we were asked if we were staying there, as we weren't the waitress had to check that it was OK. This was quite confusing as the place was relatively quiet.... More

We booked a table for 8 plus 2 children several weeks in advance of the 12 July 2014. On arrival, we were told our table was in the SMALL bar. We let it be known that this was totally unsuitable AND there were hoards of German bus tourists queing out of the bar door. The staff said that the person... More

We stayed here with friends for one night and i thought it was good value for money. We were greeted by the owner and personally shown to our room. They remembered that when I had booked some months ago i had mentioned i loved seafood and they offered a platter that was not on the menu which was a lovely... More

Ate last night 27th June 2014. Poor quality food, soggy calamari, old fish and starter served at same time as main course. Well meaning staff mostly, though some surly behaviour from others. The price £42, for,one starter, two mains a beer and glass of wine. Quality of seafood unforgivable as we watched boxes and boxes of prawns landed I the... More

This was a return visit - we had a great expereince last time; so expectations were high. And we were so disappointed! From the moment were checking in, to be interrupted by an angry tour leader; to the Manager {Samantha} saying 'I am not going to her, she can come to me' things did not get much better. In the... This hotel was recommended to us so we booked for a 2 night stay with dinner. First evening dinner was very good with quick service. Breakfast poor, we were given no choice of bread for toast, only fried or scrambled eggs offered. No marmalade in our dish of jams etc. a large teapot with only 1 tea bag and when... More

Although the staff were nice I'm afraid the room we had was pretty dismal - not very clean and in need of an update. At £50 pp we expected better. This was a disappointing experience and we won't be returning.

After a six hour drive to deliver our Daughter to the Gairloch, we had lunch at The Old Inn, very friendly staff and a quiet, quirky bistro, our food was well presented and delicious. The cost is very much on par with other bistros/restaurants. We will be back as we very much enjoyed our lunch.

Popped in here for dinner this evening after several hours driving the west coast. Having been several times before, we know the food is really good. We were not disappointed!! One of my favourite places to eat on the west coast of Scotland. Will definitely visit again. Staff we welcoming and polite. Food was prompt but really fresh!
