Our thanks go to Ian and Shirley for making us feel very much at home, and telling us little tips about the region. At breakfast, it was apparent the other guests felt very comfortable too as we shared travelling experiences. It was the last day, of our first trip,to this part of Scotland and you both helped make it a... More

Just back from a weekend in the Scottish Highlands and spent 2 nights (28th and 29th august) at Wayside B and B which was absolutely lovely ! So homely and welcoming.. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented, and the room was cosy and comfy with a lovely little en suite toilet/shower room. The family who own and run this... More

Stayed here on the 26th of July 2014. We had the twin room, which was lovely and a shared bathroom with one other room, but no one was there. Lovely touches all across the house. Everything was really clean. The owner is friendly and her son gave us a lovely wee drawing as we left which was a lovely touch.... More

We found this B&B with one vacant double room close to 10pm - our last option. Very friendly owners and we got room 4, which has a view away from the water towards the garden. The room was cosy and the bed was in the more solid end - which we prefer and so far haven't found on our journey.... More

I think I don't have to say more after all those positive reviews. It's all true. The owners are so warm and friendly, the bed was very comfy, the view stunning and the breakfast delicious. I really recommend this B&B to everyone.

We had a wonderfull experience in that bed and breakfast. We were the only guests and we had a VIP welcomining. We had the chance to stay with the 2 owners of the place and we spend time around the woodfire talking with them about so many things. We had a very good exchange. The room was just perfect, very... We arrived in Gairloch without a reservation after a long day travelling from Tobermory. I remembered reading about the Wayside Guest House on Tripadvisor so knocked on the door and found out there was a vacancy, which we took for two nights. We had a double room at the front of the house, with a lovely view over the loch.... More

My husband and I arrived at Gairloch early evening (7/4/13) and thankfully Shirley still had a vacancy. She was extremely friendly and welcoming, the bed was super super comfy, the room had a gorgegous view and the breakfast was scrummy - what more can you ask for! Would definately stay here again, was disappointed that we couldn't stay longer but... More

We arrived there in the evening last minute after a long drive and luckily there was a vacancy. We stayed in a cosy and gorgeous double room with a fantastic sea view. A very comfy bed too. There is also a twin room next door so ideal for a family of 4 to stay. It's a shame we were only... More
