Extremely pleased with everything about our stay except for not having a pot of tea at breakfast. Instead flasks of lukewarm coffee flavoured water were provided so you could dunk your own teabag. To be fair, we did mention this on checking out and received an apology, but no pot of tea at breakfast is a first for me. I... more

We stayed here for a weekend and found it overall very nice indeed, but there were some very strange inconsistencies! We arrived very late on a Friday night and found our room only had one towel and half the number of light bulbs working in the ceiling fixture as there should have been. The bathroom was not in keeping with... more

Have stayed various times now in 2008 and 2009 and would reccomend it to anyone on leisure or business. There's nothing bad to say having spent what has totalled over 6 weeks on various trips and at different times of the year. There has been 5 star service from the friendly attentive staff and the rooms are fantastic, each one... more

Myself and my family recently visited the above hotel for sunday lunch. Oh what an experience!!. I cannot compliment the food enough, the staff who waited on us could not do enough for us. There were 4 adults and one baby, and as any of you who know who have toddlers it can be a harrowing experience taking them out... more

I was married at The Brackenborough on 2nd January 2009 and had what can only be described as a truly perfect day. I stayed the night before with my family (the hotel agreed to open especially for us as they are normally closed New Years day) all of the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the attention to detail... more

We got married at The Brackenborough in Sept 2008, and had the most perfect day. We could not fault anything. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lush, food, and service, were 100%. Would definately reccommend this venue to anyone. Wish I could do the whole experience all over again. We are looking forward... more

We stayed at the Brackenborough Hotel, just to get away from it all and have some "us" time. We stayed in the executive rooms and they were great. The food was fantastic. Service was brilliant. If you want to get away from it all for a couple of nights, then this is ideal place. more

I last stayed here over 10 years ago, so this was the natural place to stay. You cannot fault anything from the welcome to the farewell. The room was comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was good. Would recommend this hotel to anybody heading in their direction. more
