We booked a weekend for Valentines, the whole weekend was excellent. The barman in the resturant made us feel at home, the restaurant was excellent and the food second to none. Myself and my family recently visited the above hotel for sunday lunch. Oh what an experience!!. I cannot compliment the food enough, the staff who waited on us could not do enough for us. We stayed at the Brackenborough Hotel, just to get away from it all and have some "us" time. We stayed in the executive rooms and they were great. The food was fantastic. Service was brilliant. If you want to get away from it all for a couple of nights, then this is ideal place. more

I last stayed here over 10 years ago, so this was the natural place to stay. You cannot fault anything from the welcome to the farewell. The room was comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was good. Would recommend this hotel to anybody heading in their direction. more
