Having traveled to Boston by boat we decided to look for somewhere new to eat so found the restaurant in The New England Hotel. The food was very good, sensibly priced, the staff were efficient and helpful. We will return.

With chains like Premier Inn, Travel Lodge and Holiday Inn Express, I'm surprised places like this exist! My one point goes for the fact they served a decent pint of Guinness and the WiFi worked. Although the downstairs of this hotel was nice once in the bedroom it was a different matter. I thought hotels like this didn't exist any more. A lovely characterful old building to look at, but once inside you feel like you are back in the 1970s. Had a weekend with my girlfriend in Boston, and stayed at the New England Hotel hotel. Good location, the hotel was very clean,and staff very helpful,food was very good.would visit again .ideal for shopping as within walking distance of all shops.

I stayed in January for a few nights whilst visiting some family. The hotel is in a good location in the centre of town. The receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived and later was very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and directions.

This hotel has seen better days and needs a complete overhaul. The windows are single glazed and the bedroom chilly and bathroom freezing, The staff however were delightful, very friendly and warm. Given its condition, the hotel is not good value. It is however very central in Boston town centre.
