A lovely secluded spot, ideal for walking. Great views over to Cam peak and long down. Plenty of wild life; wood pecker, pheasant, squirrel and numerous other wildlife outside the window. We were welcomed by the owners and a roaring fire! Only down side: we were only there for the weekend and the camera bag got left at home.

Quiet, secluded location at the foot of Uley Bury. Friendly owners onhand if needed but left us to ourselves otherwise. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom, good water pressure in shower and loads of hot water. Great little kitchen with everything we needed for a breakfast fry-up or an evening stirfry. Nice little coal fire in lounge room - perfect for romantic... More

My partner and I live on a very loud and busy street in London so we really wanted somewhere quiet to get away. We booked a cottage just outside of Uley through the Country Cottages website. It was very easy to book and pay for, all online and we just rang the owner a week beforehand to confirm arrival times... More
