We enjoyed our stay at The Old Crown, despite the long trek downhill from the Cotswold Way at the end of a long day's walking - it was worth it! A traditional pub, with a friendly atmosphere and good beer, tasty pub food and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good too. Our room was a little cramped and continuing refurbishment... More

Stayed here for a wedding night do in Tetbury. When we were shown to the room (bear in mind it was August) it was really cold inside. The walls were stone and you could see the damp (see photo). We asked for a heater and were told where the blanket was. Later the heating did come on and it warmed... More

7 of us arranged to meet here for an evening meal. Food started @ 6pm so we had to wait for half an hour, but the sun was shining and the beer was good, so no complains. We placed our food orders just before 6pm and were served within 15 minutes. The food was tasty and generous portion sizes, the... More

Stopped off as a halfway point for lunch on the way back from holiday, based on a semi-random choice off Google maps! We had tuna, ham and bacon & brie baguettes between us, along with a side order of chips and I was well impressed with the tasty ham (not that pre-processed stuff), tuna (baguette stuffed full) and really tasty... Good things about our stay: good location, warm welcome, good sized family room, freshly cooked full English breakfast, very comfortable beds, our wet walking gear was dried for us. Disappointing things about our stay: no roaring log fire in the pub, room was cold, shower room/toilet was unbelievably small and was not very clean. This was overpriced compared with other... More

we were walking the Cotswold way with a small dog. Stayed here for one night. Straightforward room, good shower, clean, comfortable bed. the real star was Kelly, the manageress and everything else, who seemed to work insanely hard and did everything well. She offered a lift in the morning up the hill back to the Cotswold Way and Mandy, who... More

With family we booked all 4 rooms at The Old Crown when we visited for a family wedding nearby. This traditional country pub retains all it's charm and welcome and offers comfortable and clean accommodation, though the bathrooms could benefit from some refurbishment. Room 3 is a little cramped if staying for more than 1 night, room 4 has a... More

Visited several times during a week's holiday. Wonderful traditional old country pub with friendly staff and bargain prices. Food is superb - home cooked and big portions - lovely!! Open fire too. Wish all pubs were like this!! Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here on recommendation from my friend who was getting married in Uley, and we were not disappointed. A lovely small country B&B, with only 4 rooms. Easy check-in via the bar, and we were showed to our room. It was comfortable and clean. The tea/coffee area in the room included hot chocolate and green tea which I appreciated.... More

A small country pub, offering 4 bed and breakfast rooms. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable and freshly cooked. Room was comfortable although the bathroom had not been fully cleaned with used shower gel and shampoo still in the shower
