Dropped into the Sherborne Arms in Northleach for lunch. This is a Enterprise Inns owned pub and all one can say about it is it is very, very tired. It was very quiet for a Sunday lunch time and over a period of a couple of hours there were only eight people eating. Clearly the Sherbourne Arms has seen much... More

This may well be a locals pub but it doesn't seem to care much about the locals who frequent it. My elderly mother and her friend have been regular visitors for lunch but not any more. For quite some time now they have felt uncomfortable in the pub, commenting that it is cold and dark and in need of attention.... More

A group of us visited for a pre-booked Sunday lunch. The initial visit to the ladies toilet was awful - soggy smelly carpet and very unpleasant. Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive and the waitress had no idea what was what when she bought them to the table. Carvery was self service - beef was well cooked only and... More

Review is based on the pub and not the accommodation. Located on the Market Square it appears to be a locals pub. Good selection of real ales and food was ok but did not make me feel I need to rush back.

Good food at good price. Easy access in middle of village by central car park. There seemed to be only one ladies toilet and in need of refurb.

As many reviewers have previously said, a "locals pub". That meant youngsters hitting the jagerbombs hard at 6pm, resulting in police and CPS) attendance by 1030 pm in the evening. The whole pub unfortunately has a faded appearance and needs a lot of TLC, but the worst and unforgivable feature is the lack of basic cleanliness. The bedroom is pleasant... More

Visited for a meal with relatives on a Saturday night. If you are looking for an authentic cotswold pub, this is probably it. The locals are in flat tweed caps and camo jackets, just back from rabitting or somesuch country activity! Nice real ales on tap including 6X. Limited selection of wine, but OK. Small Menu, 3 out of 4... More

Not knowing the northleach area chose a central location. On entering it was apparent it is a locals pub. No restaurant area which was shut off but I was told that when I booked. Very cold, fire and radiators off. Food basic but tasty. Toilet had seen better days! Beer good. Not much choice of wine. Three of us enjoyed... More

A lovely room (The Cotswold), really warm and with a 4-poster bed! Slept like a baby. Breakfast fine, cheery 'mine host' & ecxcellent staff. A bit of redecoration would not go amiss and the loud banging door could be cured with a little rubber pad or two? Otherwise, I just love it. Much less 'snooty' than one of the other... More

The room was quaint, but definitely needed some modernising in decor, indeed like the entire pub. Normally this isn't the sort of thing I focus on, but even I must concede that it was lacking somewhat in this area. The room was large and the heating was very good as it needed to be, as even though the weather was... More
