We stayed for two nights in March this year and fell in love with the Cotswolds and the cottage. The cottage is positioned in a beautiful hamlet surrounded by incredible countryside. It overlooks a stunning church and Vivien's beautiful garden. The cottage is also very ŵell positioned for breathtaking walks which Vivien's provides a map for. The cottage is warm,... More

We had a wonderful escape from the hustle and bussle of city life. Vivien was a kind and considerate host plus her home made jams were worth thte trip alone. If you are staying in the area make sure you stay here.

We stayed there for three nights on our trip through Britain. The room was really cozy and Vivienne was a lovely host. We enjoyed the breakfast and a good chatting now and then. She provides you with recommendations for walking tours, places to visit or pubs worth a visit. We also enjoyed playing with her three dogs in her spacious... More

From the moment we arrived at Yew Tree Cottage, we knew we had found a goodie. Vivien welcomed us with an extremely warm and relaxed 'open home' feeling. She and her friendly dogs made us feel at ease and not just 'guests' that were to be confined to their room. Yew Tree Cottage is a quintessential cottage that has been... More

Booked by my hubby for our first wedding anniversary, lovely little b and b in the countryside. Has all the extras you need and more. Food was fabulous, fresh and all home made. Vivien is a fabulous host and wealth of local knowledge. Would not hesitate to book again.

I could go on for days about this amazing Cottage. It was idyllic and had a true country vibe! The room had everything you could want and more. But without a doubt, the best part of our stay was the lovely host, Vivien. She went above and beyond to ensure we were able to see as much as we could... More

We spent one night in this idyllic cottage over valentines weekend but not long enough! Vivien is the most perfect host. We were made to feel so welcome. The Kitchen Supper was superb with pre dinner drinks served whilst enjoying the roaring log fire. Rooms quaint, well equipped, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Our cooked breakfast, complemented by homemade bread,... More

Quiet little cottage tucked away in the small village of Turkdean, central to some of the loveliest parts of the Cotswolds. The delightful host was so helpful and looked after us on our short stay. Wish it had been longer.
