Ended up at Yew Tree after we've been let down by a doubble booking at a nerby B&B. That was a good thing in retrospective. We had a wonderful stay. Lovely room, good breakfast in the cosy country kitschen. If you are a garden lover like me, this is the place to be. Thank you Vivien for two lovely days!

We spent two nights with Vivien in her beautiful cottage. If you want a great Cotswold experience this is the place to stay. We found Vivien to be a friendly lovely lady who has three gorgeous dogs. The gardens are delightful and Vivien provided everything for a lovely relaxing stay. The whole cottage is so quaint and just what I... More

I stayed here in December 2014 for a wedding in nearby Northleach. Coincidentally, another couple from the same wedding party were also staying, so we made travel plans to arrive together in their car (I had travelled down from the North of England by train). The cottage is lovely and the rooms are quaint, HOWEVER, similarly to other reviewers here,... More

Vivian gave us a very warm welcome to her beautiful home - she was very helpful in her email communications before we arrived and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do and places to see in the surrounding area. The cottage is filled with books, magazines and brochures providing information about the area and things to do, helpful... More

We stayed for two nights in March this year and fell in love with the Cotswolds and the cottage. The cottage is positioned in a beautiful hamlet surrounded by incredible countryside. It overlooks a stunning church and Vivien's beautiful garden. The cottage is also very ŵell positioned for breathtaking walks which Vivien's provides a map for. The cottage is warm,... More

We had a wonderful escape from the hustle and bussle of city life. Vivien was a kind and considerate host plus her home made jams were worth thte trip alone. If you are staying in the area make sure you stay here.

We stayed there for three nights on our trip through Britain. The room was really cozy and Vivienne was a lovely host. We enjoyed the breakfast and a good chatting now and then. She provides you with recommendations for walking tours, places to visit or pubs worth a visit. We also enjoyed playing with her three dogs in her spacious... More

From the moment we arrived at Yew Tree Cottage, we knew we had found a goodie. Vivien welcomed us with an extremely warm and relaxed 'open home' feeling. She and her friendly dogs made us feel at ease and not just 'guests' that were to be confined to their room. Yew Tree Cottage is a quintessential cottage that has been... More

Booked by my hubby for our first wedding anniversary, lovely little b and b in the countryside. Has all the extras you need and more. Food was fabulous, fresh and all home made. Vivien is a fabulous host and wealth of local knowledge. Would not hesitate to book again.
