My Daughter booked us into the Wheatsheaf for Sunday Lunch, there were 11 in party,6 adults and 5 Children.Upon arrival we were treated cordially and shown to our table. The a Table had been laid professionally and we all settled down,They had a children's menue as well as our own so we proceeded to order.Everything was done in a professional and friendly... We had a 2 night stay in mid November, staying in an 'excellent' room, which was aptly named, with a huge bath and very comfortable bed. The furniture is beautiful with deep, rich fabrics and old leather arm chairs. There is a guest snug with an open fire and TV where one can while away the afternoon drinking freshly brewed... More

Overall a lovely hotel in a great location. We stayed here for a couple of nights for a friend's wedding at nearby Cripps Barn venue (about 10 mins in car). Staff were excellent, food was excellent and drinks reasonably priced. However not a cheap room for what is essentially a boutique pub - especially when off season in mid November.... More

Went for lunch, meal was ok, service was quite patchy. I would not make a special effort to revisit as there are far better places to eat at a similar price. They should attempt to look after the customers who are there and not rush around seemingly without any direction or management.

Decent pub food, served by staff whose bad attitude and bad service really ruined the meal. I was trying it out with a friend to see if it would be a good place for a client dinner at Christmas, but they seemed incapable of serving two of us on a quietish weekday, so a bigger party would not work at... We travelled last week to The Wheatsheaf for one night after a friend of ours saw it on a website and it instantly took our fancy. I went onto their website and the booking process was very simple - I did it via email because I work during the day - the lady was very helpful and even sent me... More

The dining room is nothing, nothing like it's talked up. Confused as the booking rigmarole involved calls from the waitress reminding us we could only have our table for an hour and 45, and repeated calls to ask us to confirm. I thought it was a real destination-type place with some London swank - as the frantic calls and the... More

Great food. Great service. Both up and down recently but tonight was spot on. Cheese soufflé is a fab starter, followed by sirloin steak cooked to perfection. TripAdvisor insists reviews are at least 200 characters long so 9 to go - do visit!

We have visited this very nice pub for lunch on several occasions when staying in the Cotswolds, and the food has been excellent each time we have eaten there. We booked to stay over with a group of friends last weekend, however, we were very disappointed with our room. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was superb, but... More

Booked the Wheatsheaf Inn prior to travelling around the Cotswolds & we are glad we did. This accommodation offered everything as expected & more. During our travels we have stayed at numerous boutique accommodation/B&B's however the Wheatsheaf was one of the most comfortable rooms we have stayed in. The room & Inn is tastefully styled. They have gone that little... More
