The only bad part of our trip was that we only got to stay for one night! We did upgrade our stay to one of the deluxe rooms so I can't comment on the standard rooms, however if our room was anything to go by you will not be disappointed. It was lovely, spotlessly clean and had everything you could... More

We stayed at The Cross Keys for one night only and found it to be very pleasant. The bed is to die for, so comfortable. Breakfast too in Molly's was very good. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

This is a charming old inn at the heart of an historic English town. We stayed overnight and had breakfast before leaving the following day The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a real fire in the lounge and comforting old English charm. Our 'luxury' room was great, with a free-standing slipper bath and a very comfortable.king-size bed. Service was... More

We were visiting the town and our guide took us to the hotel as one of the oldest buildings in the town. We decided to have lunch as it looked very inviting. Information showed that the hotel had been refurbished and renovated in 2012. The restaurant was warm and inviting on a cold day and the staff were friendly and... More

Patrick and his team were 100% customer focused, nothing was too much trouble and the quality of the food and liquid refreshments was exceptional, awesome!!! The rooms reflected the property period with modern comfort, lovely!

Very good customer service in the restaurant with good food and pleasant staff. We had lunch on the first day and breakfast the following morning. Room very comfortable although too warm for us. Good location in the centre of town but quiet at night.

My wife and I stayed at the Cross Keys Hotel on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. We needed accommodation near our son's home, but he had too many people staying so our daughter in law booked the Cross Keys for us. We had dinner at the hotel on Christmas Eve, but only had breakfast there on the following two... More

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the new year in at this fine establishment. The owner Patrick and his team provide a warm welcome. The food is of high quality and beautifully presented. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Highly recommend.

We stayed in room 7. Absolutely lovely. Quiet, comfortable bed and furniture. A very tasteful 'barn/hayloft' conversion. The free standing bath with shower would be very difficult for some guests to use due to it's height. The staff were truly "fantastic." Nothing was too much for them. The food was superb and plentiful. The breakfast also. This was our second... More

Dining at cross keys early on a Sunday evening - the service was exemplary. The staff were attentive to all our needs, friendly without being obsequious, and so cheerful especially as some of them had been working all day. The food was tasty - we can recommend the bubble and squeak with a crsipy poached egg - exquisite. Would certainly... More
