We stayed here for two nights and the location is perfect, a short flat walk into town, car parking provided within cost so makes for a very reasonably priced break. Owners very friendly and accommodating.

Delicious breakfast. Brilliant friendly service . Beautiful clean comfortable room. Short walk to the sea and the weather was great too. Will definitely stay at Old Lyme Guest House again. Tracey and Paul were great. Thanks for a lovely break.

Nice and cosy BB just in the heart of Lyme. Nice and clean room. Very warm welcome with good information about the hotel and the City . Breakfast great, early (8.15) but then you gået up! Absolutely recommendable!

Thank you for your kind review. But oops! - looks like we might have confused you with our breakfast times - we do advise guests when we are showing them to their room that breakfast is served between 8.15 and 9am, but this means that you can come down to breakfast at 8.15, or you can walk into the breakfast... Spent 2 nights at Old Lyme and can certainly recommend. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the town. Lots of choice for breakfast with locally sourced produce and was delicious. No hesitation in recommending and we will certainly be back.

Our first visit to this beautiful town and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Warm and friendly hosts who shared a wealth of knowledge of the area that was not in the guide books. Absolutely spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, quiet and yet minutes away from everything. The breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent ingredients served with... More

The house is in a side street, with parking provide a short walk up the hill. The room, whilst not large, was comfortable and charming. The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts welcoming and helpful. Best of all was the location, quiet but still in the heart of Lyme. We would definitely return.

A return visit to the Old Lyme; as clean, comfortable and central as ever. Breakfasts still great (my husband says no one poaches such a great egg as Tracy) and friendly and considerate as they have always been. Perfect location and this historic building is the perfect lace for a Lyme visit.

Thank-you, Jill, for taking the time to review us again. We're so glad that hubby is still enjoying the poached eggs - but we can't take all the credit - it's down to the eggs, which we source from a local farm. I'm sure a happy hen makes for a better poacher!! :-) Look forward to seeing you again. Best... More
