Right on the esplanade in a spacious room with separate kitchen & lounge - all with a view across the water was sensational. Breakfast included & delivered to door - cereals, yoghurt, cheese, croissants, fresh fruit & milk. Staff, particularly Charlotte are genuine and professional. Would love to return one day. Tip: To unload suitcases, entry is from one end... More

Hard to locate, no instructions or directions provided beforehand. It was difficult to get luggage from car to hotel, then there was a steep flight of stairs to reception and again up to the room. Parking is not on site (£8 per night extra) .We booked the Garden room, but this was on the fourth floor and with no lift... More

The positives: friendly on arrival. Good storage for bikes (in garage). Reasonably clean but not the cleanest Overall we did not consider this to be a hotel though and expensive @ £120. The restaurant was not open in the evening. Breakfast was a basket (good quality though) Reception largely unmanned Room very average with economic furniture (picnic trestle table?). One... More

Stayed here 2 nights mid week in May on spec. Paid c£120 for a suite (still not cheap) plus £8 parking -(this worth it) Right on sea front with no cars or road in the way. Gardens etc next door.. A perfect location in this small very nice town Lovely large views. You could not ask for a better location.... More

Wonderful views and a great spot right on the beach. Especially handy with 2 young children. We hired a 'family suite' (room no 2), yes it was expensive but the suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable and was worth the money for the views and access to the promenade. The breakfast hamper varied, pastries one day, meats and cheese... More

The position of this hotel is outstanding and the view from our suite on the top floor was just onderful. The room itself was bright and clean with modern decor. It was expensive though - perhaps more than it should be for what is otherwise a modest hotel. Breakfast was acceptable though one of the staff walking through the restaurant... More

Not obvious to navigate to on first arrival, but that's because you get to it from a beachside access road. Once dumping your stuff, there's a lockup garage 5 mins walk away down a quiet backstreet. Hotel was very clean & well maintained. reception was friendly, helpful & low-key. Fabulous position from seaview rooms:- to the Cobb (right) & Golden... More

Great location on the seafront with fantastic view of The Cobb but overpriced! 'Continental' breakfast with no cheeses or cold meats, just pastries and toast. Being asked for £7 upon checkout to park in the lock-up a 10 minute walk away was not expected and for £170 a night (out of season!) you would think would be included!
