An enjoyable visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant. The breakfast is also good quality. The room was clean and comfortable. Free parking opposite the hotel is a bonus in Lyme Regis. Happy to stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff- we had modern clean room with a sea view. Breakfast was included and very good-I'd stay here again. The walk into the town centre is less than 10 minutes downhill although the walk back is obviously more strenuous but nothing to worry about if you're healthy enough!

Seven of us stayed had a warm welcome, yes some rooms low ceiling in our party the men were 6ft plus, but the rooms and place was full of great character, clean and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful , breakfast menu and service fabulous. We wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend it. Thank you to the staff.... More

Poor value for money. Would not recommend this place. Shower room too small and impractical for a tall person. Waited 30 minutes for breakfast but staff busy chatting at reception so had to eat cereal instead and leave. When the 3 staff members saw me leaving they said they did not hear me come down for breakfast otherwise they would... More

We stopped for one night just before Christmas as a surprise for my birthday, and it was ideal. Our room was up on the top floor, and was a nice size with plenty of space. I personally don't like hot bedrooms and we were able to control the temperature with ease. Our bed was comfortable and we both slept well.... More

We stayed as a couple and had dinner at the hotel with parents and one adult son. The meal was good although I did feel it was pricey. The bedroom was lovely with a very comfy bed. We did feel that the hotel lacked some atmosphere, the staff were friendly enough but seems to be a bit rushed with the... More

We booked two rooms for one night as we were going to dinner at River Cottage. This hotel was the perfect location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Managed to find us a local taxi on the busiest night Lyme Regis has seen all year! Great breakfast sorry we were too full from the night before to really do it justice!... More

2 nights here and first was great. Room 5 - No view, but hey December .. It's too dark by the time you get back!.. Four poster bed, small bath but plenty of room. 2nd night - room 15... Double sea view, but very small room. Nowhere to put anything, no chair... had to get one from reception, and floor... More

I very much enjoyed my visit to the Mariners. The lady on reception when I arrived was very friendly and offered to make me up a breakfast platter in the morning because I was to be up earlier than when breakfast was being served. The room was very comfortable, after a couple of days it almost felt like it was... More

This was the second time I have chosen to stay at this hotel, and I would not hesitate to stay there again! A lovely, charming hotel with great facilities. We stayed for one night and both my partner and I commented that the bed was one of the most comfortable we had ever slept in. We were shown up to... More
