I stayed at the Little Rose Bed & Breakfast between the 23rd and the 27th of February. I was in Lyme Regis on business and needed somewhere close for my stay. I must say Berni is a wonderful host and made me feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble for her. The house must be well over 200 years... More

I had read reviews on tripadvisor which tended to lead me to a lovely stay in Lyme Regis. This B&B is simply not up to standard - the stay ruined our weekend in Lyme Regis. The whole B&B is very scruffy, dirty and uncomfortable. The shared bathroom (also used by the owner) was absolutely horrendous - shabby and very dirty.... More

I love these old and tiny house ! Berni is a very kind person. She gives you a very warm Welcome. The house is near the towncentre and only few meters from the seafront. (I would like to say more but my english is not very good...)

We had a lovely cosy stay on a blustery night in Lyme Regis! Berni is a wonderful host and makes you feel SO welcome and she cooked a beautiful breakfast for us! If you are looking for old English charm this is the place!

Little Rose is a real gem, this 16th century house breathes personality. The cosy dining room used to be butcher's shop, there is a fireplace in the bathroom, and a leopardskin-fitted armchair in the bedroom. You just got to love it! The host is simply wonderful: smiling, interested and interesting. I felt totally at home. Breakfast could do with a... More

Stayed one night last weekend, but thought it delightful. Would definitely stay again. Massive room, comfortable bed. Will not suit everyone due to shared bathroom, and nor was there a washbasin in our room. However, the charm of this ancient building and its lovely host Berni more than make up for any shortcomings. Breakfast was good, price very reasonable.

We recently enjoyed a week in Lyme Regis, returning to the Little Rose, where Berni our host was as welcoming and accommodating as she was last year. A quirky old building with a delicious cooked breakfast and interesting diverse guests to chat to over breakfast. Many thanks Berni for looking after us so well, we look forward to next year.... We had a lovely friendly welcome from charming landlady and it is a fascinating 400 year old building. Not for people who want sleek and modern. Excellent breakfast, good hot shower, shared bathroom which was fine as the price was very reasonable. You need to be able to manage stairs. Very close to the beach and all the shops, and... More

We stayed out of season and staying at the Little Rose really enhanced our experience of Lyme Regis. This beautiful old building, which served the local community as a butchers many many years ago, could not be in a better location as it really is only 1 min to the beach. Bernadette is a fantastic landlady and it was lovely... More
