A very enjoyable stay with a lovely friendly family. Possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The house has masses of character and is decorated very tastefully. Perfect if you are after a home from home feel.

Had a very enjoyable stay. A warm and welcoming family made us feel at ease right away. Just the right distance from Lyme seafront (enough of a stroll to burn off our evening meal). We were very surprised that the high quality of the breakfast had not been mentioned by many reviewers before us. Overall a very good stay and... More

Just spent the night at this lovely B&B, I was welcomed by Mark who was on crutches and in extreme pain but still had the courtesy to hobble up the stairs and show me my room!. The bed was one of the most comfiest I have ever slept in. In the morning I met Zoe, who again made me welcome... More

We stayed at the Rhododendron House for a couple of nights and have to thank Zoe and Mark for their warm welcome. We couldn't have asked for more and had a wonderful time in Lyme Regis. The location is a short picturesque walk to the beach although the walk back from the beach involves a little uphill trek, but was... More

My work colleagues were looking for somewhere quiet to chill out, after a long day in the town. A short distance from the centre of Lyme, we found rhododendron house. Zoe was very welcoming and took us to the family room on the first floor. The room is decorated to a good standard with ensuite bathroom. Although no shower, there's... More

A cosy home with everything you could possibly want. Bed was really comfortable and cosy and we slept so well. Good situation with easy walk to the town, excellent views and quiet and peaceful. Very welcoming, spotless and perfect for our Christmas stay. Thank you Zoe and Mark for being so friendly and welcoming. Would greatly recommend.

We've stayed with Zoe and Mark a couple of times now and they have always been great hosts, very friendly, very helpful and very accommodating. It's also a lovely quiet setting on the edge of town with views of the sea through the trees. And lovely porridge too! Don't really understand the odd negative review about this being part of... If you don't mind sharing the family house, the owners going in your room without asking whilst your having your inedible breakfast? Otherwise this really could be a reasonable b & b. Why double beds rather than king size in large rooms? I am 6ft 3 and had an awkward nights sleep. The owner was kind enough to offer me... More

This was the second year we have stayed here when on a diving weekend and were made very welcome again and happy to take bookings for a single night. They even helped out with some emergency washing and drying for one of our party whose drysuit had flooded so his undersuit got soaked. The walk into town built up our... More

We had a really comfortable stay at this B & B and could not have been made to feel more welcome. Our room was perfect for our needs it had a linked room for our children. The breakfast was delicious and we felt that the owners went above and beyond. We LOVED it so much we are going back again.
