A party of us (all adults) recently stayed here for a week. It is a large property within a 5 minute stroll down the main street to the beach, with good parking for several cars. Kitchen had 2 ovens which was useful and the utility room had 2 washing machines and a large tumle drier. However, we left all the... More

The White House is now a self-catering holiday let. I booked it as a surprise weekend away, with family and friends, for my husband's 50th birthday. We had a great time, the house was a perfect venue with plenty of room for 14 of us, within walking distance of the town and sea-front. I was impressed with how well-equipped and... More

A group of eight of us stayed in The White House While we attended a 505 Sailing event and had a wonderful time, our room was small but very cozy and had a view of the sea it was spotlessly clean and had a T.V and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was amazing and would see you through till... More

A spur of the moment trip to Lyme Regis was made all the more enjoyable by the perfect weather and the warm welcome I received at the White House. Conveniently located on Silver Street and within five minutes of the cliff top gardens, town centre and beach, the White House is an attractive and compact little B&B which offers great... More

We took the top two rooms in this very comfortable and clean B&B run by friendly owners Geoff and Sally Yaxley. The White House is a stone's throw from the High Street and the shore front so dump the car in the White House's convenient and safe off-street car parking area and head straight for the beach for some fossil... We stayed here on a last minute break away and were pleasantly surprised at what we found. The owners were very friendly and the room was nicely kitted out and clean. It's a little hike off the main street in Lyme, and good exercise to work off holiday indulgences. It's right next door to the Jurassic Restaurant, which was also... More

A pleasant b&b that doesn't feel like you are staying in someone's house. We asked for a sea view and we could just about see the sea. In fact it was the seagull family on the roof next door that attracted most of our attention. They had two 'kids' just about ready to fly, so lots of tentative attempts to... More

Came across this lovely **** B&B when looking for somewhere to stay for a night in November. It's a 18th century Georgian house with it's own car park (something of a rarity in Lyme Regis). We had room 3 at the front of the house...simple double but very clean and with every facility you hope for in a good B&B,... More
