We rang to make our booking. From the off, we were made to feel very welcome and Mary went out of her way to make us feel at home. To be given a cup of tea and something to eat on arrival went down extremely well, having had some hours on the motorway. The loan of an OS map was... More

Great Wooston farm was the perfect bed and breakfast. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every aspect. Mary and her husband were charming hosts and we were welcomed by a superb Devon cream tea on our arrival. The bedroom was delightfully furnished and very clean and looked over spectacular Dartmoor countryside. The breakfast was huge and couldn't have been... More

Nice clean room, bed was to hard for us didn't sleep to well, then farm workers woke us up early on a large tractor shouting outside the window, we understand it is a working farm , but no need for all the noise the men made. We had a lovely breakfast, and was made welcome with our little dog.

The farm is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless, with thoughtful additions. There is a lovely common room on the first floor. Since we came from the US, it was our first time driving on the left-hand side, along narrow single tracks, and still, this place was wonderful! Mary made us welcome, calmed my husband's frayed... Just to thank you for our enjoyable stay with you. We felt quite at home there and of course enjoyed the breakfast Mary put before us! We did not have to drive far before Dartmoor opened up before us and all the lovely places to visit. Thank you both again for making us welcome! Bruce & Valerie Pike

The best farmhouse on Dartmoor. We have stayed here many times. It is lovely, clean & cosy. The breakfasts are good & hearty and the hosts Mary & John are wonderful. Highly recommend this farmhouse. Set in beautiful surroundings.

A friend and I booked to stay here for two nights over the summer as a base for a fly fishing trip at a local reservoir. We booked two rooms, one double with en-suite and a twin with a private bathroom at the end of the hall. Both rooms had everything and more than you would expect from a bed... More

We appreciated the welcoming with a cup of tea and homemade cake. The rooms are very well equiped, clean and so british ! Our children enjoyed particularly DVDs and games which were at their disposal. We stayed there two days and thus we enjoyed two wonderful breakfasts (and this is not to say). Thanks to Mary and John
