We love dropping into the Heathfield for an evening meal - there's always a warm welcome, and excellent food to be had. My particular favourite is the sirloin steak and all the trimmings....but that's just me! We held our daughter's wedding reception here in 2009, and I must say the buffet they laid on was spectacular - more food than... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Good food and a nice relaxed atmosphere here. Staff are friendly and it was service with a smile every time. My room was clean with plenty of space. Will be back in Honiton again later this year and will definitely be staying here again.

We made a last minute decision last night to pop in for dinner quite late in the evening with my visiting mum. We were very happy we did. Amazing food and great service. Will definitely be eating here again and spreading the word of how good it is.

A midweek 2 night business trip was spent in a clean and relaxing environment. The food, both evening meals and breakfasts were well cooked and served by friendly staff. Will recommend this venue as it is both value for money and a lovely old inn to stay in.

My wife and I used this hotel as a stopover point on our way to Cornwall. It seemed as if the satnav had failed as we drove into a residential estate but there right in the centre of all the houses was the hotel complete with its thatched roof. The rooms are quite well fitted although some of the furniture... More

Stayed here on my way down to the other side of Devon. What a wonderful surprise one you had driven into a housing estate. Greeted by Carlos and Julie, and shown to my room which was lovely with comfortable bed and good shower. Free Wifi in room was excellent. Nice pub downstairs with very good food and drink, either in... More
